What are some good items to g/e merch?

This is called "investing", not merchanting. And with 2m, I suggest you stock up on items required for the new Summoning pouches (AKA talismens, fur, etc). They're going up fast

sell highest price.

actually, they do because of BH -- you could actually stand in world 17 or 152 selling r scimmies they would sell instantly

oak logs are awesome to merch, buy as low as you can and then sell for 1 higher (but in bulk)

Its not called merching, its moreover called investing as someone said above. Merching died along time ago, with the rest of runescape.

 

Merchanting didn't die, GE merchanting made me 90M since last month. Very few people know how, but it definitely still exists.

 

No, it died awhile ago.

It's the Runescape fanboys who somehow keep it alive.

 

The potential for merchanting was there ever since the GE was released, it's only been discovered because of the runescape fanboys

 

Personally I dislike merchanting due to no gained xp and how it just ruins the econemy at times.

Merchant high-in-demand items if you really want to merchant. Sara brews are a good investment, buy when they are low priced. You'll realize that at certain times they are impossible to get, and since they are in such high demand the price will go up rapidly. At one point brews were 8.5k each.

 

There's a few factors: The ammount of money you have to spend, what is hot on the market, and also what is upcoming or expected to rise. You can try those investment tips but the best way is to learn the basics on how the economy works and then just skim the GE each day and record the prices of some of the promising looking items.
