07 gold price within the next few months

What are your thoughts on how much 07 gold will be within the next few months?

Do you think it will get below .50?

Will it impact businesses who sell gold to?

 

Gold is coming into the game at a higher rate than ever before. Without a gold sink, the supply of gold will continually increase and the price of gold will continue to fall. I predict gold will be ~$0.60/mil in the next few months.

 

Although everyone would like the gold to be high the truth is gold will almost certainly continue to drop at a high rate as it is now.Pretty sure many threads were opened in the past for the same reason hoping for the gold to go back up and the price droped,propably with a slower rate as of now.As of many have said with the addition of vorkath and revs gold is coming so fast into the game that i am sure the prices will keep droping.I made a rev alt and even after the nerf i am amazed at how many alch drops you get.We had a good 2-3 months around november-february regarding the gold price because so many big streamers were promoting staking and also revs and vorkath were pretty new.Also Btc's bans certainly helped at the price staying high.In addition i think that many more people in the recent past decided to farm and sell gold by seeing how easy it is with the new updates making the supply high and the demand lower.

My conclusion is that even with a gold sink (that we dont know if we get) the prices will continue to drop maybe with a slower rate, but untill then i hope i am wrong

 

A GE tax / Duel arena tax / other gold sink would certainly slow down the rate that the price falls. Its uncertain if that will come out anytime soon but Jagex is definitely looking into ways to implement a sink/tax.

I’ve heard they’ve been cracking down on RWTers, saw a thread few days ago about many accounts being banned totaling upwards of 200B 07.

If that continues it’ll definitely affect prices.

 

The price will reflect the swap rates. As long as there is value in rs3 and the ratio of standard gp/hr techniques stay within range, it shouldn’t go far below its threshold. If it does, the whole market will fail because people will just buy rs3 to swap to 07 or vice versa. Which will have its own conflicts that should be considered.
