I was joking with some kid, telling him I was going to kill myself or something, I don't quite remember. Do you think they're going to report it or whatever?

 

Doubt it, I've seen these before.

They're probably required by law to send you that. Something like they could be sued if they had knowledge you would kill yourself and did nothing about it.

 

Ahh, jagex has done a good job avoiding lawsuits and such, I'll give them that xD

 

They have to, as megaman said Jagex is doing everything they can to protect them so they don't get sued

 

If someones does kill themself over runescape then Jagex are in for a lot of trouble, but so far everything's good.

 

No, because in their ToS they claim that they cannot be held responsible for anything that happens over their game. They have stressed several times that if users are emotionally or physically unstable, they should not play, take a break from the game.

I assume this situation was a random message they send every once in a while, so users can feel a sense of safety.

You know someone actually has done suicide over Runescape once, there best friend betrayed this boy and he was mentally unstable and depressed so he hanged himself. No lawsuits were ever filed but I heard it was on the news..his best friend hackers probobly ruined for life

 

Report them for advertising, and bypassing the censor.
