Benefits of G2A coming to an end.

As most sellers may (or may not) have read in the new terms of service announced by G2A (starting in May), G2A will lose it's most attractive perk when it comes to online sales. That's right, their full chargeback protection. How they are gonna handle it starting from May is very vague but they will NOT cover any losses comming from Creditcard, Paypal and other bank registrated payment options (such as Trustly, iDEAL, Sofort, etc) anymore.

The most annoying thing about this (imo) is their lack of giving information on this subject. So many questions are left unanswered. Can you fight the chargeback claim via G2A? How do you fight it if so? What is needed for them to still cover the loss? Will they even cover the loss if you prove you delivered the product? Etc. None of this information is out yet and the update is 3 weeks away.

The only thing i do know is that this will have a major impact on the RS market as mosts sites (over 90%) use G2A as a medium to accept Paypal, Creditcard, other bank related payment options.

 

It really look like we well have to wait for May to come before we can see and find out if it really is the end of G2A for Gold seller's.
