The Police

Maybe you are doing something wrong? Or maybe it is just from past experiences of them doing something wrong and laughing about it. The world may never know.

 

Or maybe your just under the influence of stereotypical media, or even constant stories you hear about cops from peers, unless you've actually had the experience of being targeted against because of young age (which undeniably DOES happen, but not often), then you have no place to make this assumption.

Like i said earlier though, I've come across my share of dirty cops, but im not going to look down upon their place in society because of my personal experiences.

Some cops got to much fuckin time on their hands. Most of them do what they do just to fill their quotas.

 

I agree that there are a few cops that live up to their job but there are some who would just rather fill their quotas just to get that pay check. Cops stop you for petty things while they could be stopping bigger crimanals. Where I live you could get a 5O dollar fine for J-walking.

 

You are the type of people i'm talking about. Your breaking the law so your mad at the cops for doing their jobs, if your going to break the law your going to get punished. Deal with it.

 

Alright, so check it out... I'm at work with nothing to do so I'm going to inform you about the system and how it works, so you can understand what's up.

We live in the society. The societies job as a whole is to produce efficient members that correctly conform to the goals and desires of the society in question. The society does not care about your welfare, it only cares that you become an efficient and productive member. In order to help facilitate the society we have created the government. Idealistically it is the governments job to work in the people's best interest and help guide us towards our goals. Now as you probably know, there are many people who are often incompatible with society.... as such a police force was created to maintain order.

Sounds good so far.

America's government started out great, our founding fathers were sick of the shit that was going down in Europe so they came over here to the new land, bla bla bla, we all know that story. Their original plan was to keep the government as small as possible to keep the people as free as possible. Unfortunately us humans can't seem to avoid corrupting things, so in the past 200 years or so the government has become increasingly devious and power hungry. Senseless laws have been passed and our society is struggling to acheive pointless goals in order to help the rich and powerful members of our society which the government has decided are much more important than you. Since the 1950's our economy has been completely consumption based. We use resources, make pointless toxic shit in factories, advertise them on TV (the source from which most of us receive our primary conditioning) and then you go buy them like a good little capitalist consumer, and then you finish with them and throw them out. This is how our society works, and there is lots and lots of $$$ involved, but none of it is going to you. Your just working to help keep this society going by getting involved in our consumer capitalist festivities. The real money is helping the rich and powerful people become... well, more rich, and more powerful.

The earth is a planet with a finite amount of resources... Right now America contains 5% of the population and uses 30% of the resources. Sound fair? Americans dispose of 99% of everything they buy within the first 6 months. We have already exaughsted all the resources in our own country so we are now outsourcing jobs and taking resources from other countries to continue to fuel our consumerist lifestyle. We have now invaded other countries in order to attain and protect one of our most valuable resources: oil. 50% of our tax dollars currently go to fuel this invasion.

And this brings us back to us... the worker bee consumers, whoring ourselves out for 8 hours a day at school or jobs in order to promote our pointless excessive consumerist lifestyle. We have become slaves to the government. The government has slowly began restricting our freedoms at a steady pace since the early 1900's in order to help promote this lifestyle. and it's working. Most people don't question anything anymore, those who do question things don't do anything about it. We are all passive observers in this monster of a society. Pointless laws are passed and the cops who enforce them either don't care or don't know how pointless they are. The government uses all sorts of propaganda and tricks to justify these choices.

Take drug laws for example.... in the early 1900's powerful drugs like heroin were available over the counter... and guess what? The % of the population who abused those drugs was much lower than it is now. When marijuana was made illegal cops were shown a training video titled "Reefer Madness" which told them anyone who smokes pot is going to turn into a murderous violent lunatic. This is a fact which is not true at all, as most of us now know. People were given life sentences for marijuana related charges, some of those people are still in jail today. This is just one example of the government lying and using propaganda to control the people. The drug laws have only gotten worse, black market drugs like heroin have been made illegal. Drugs which promote free thinking such as marijuana and acid have been made illegal. They have been replaced by drugs made by pharmaceutical companies. These drugs are just as bad if not worse as some of the most notorious narcotics... Perscription pain killers do the exact same thing as heroin, and plenty of people die from them daily. The only difference is that they have a brand name slapped on them so they can be taxed in our consumer based society. Right now less than 1% of all 12th graders have done heroin in past 30 days, however over 10% have illegally done prescription pain killers. It's the same fucking shit with different names. Ones black and ones white, even though they are two sides of the same fucking coin.

Our society does not care about morality, our society only cares about effecient members for their goals, like I said earlier. You kill a guy, you are a murderer and you are no longer compatible with society. So you go to jail, the place where the house incompatible members of society like you. Now the society goes to war, you kill a hundred people, and you come home a great hero. The society does not give a fuck about morality, it only cares that everything you do is done for the society and it's goals..... and our society has goals which are not sustainable. At the rate we use up resources the planet will not last much longer.


But it doesn't matter what I say, society is really fucking good at conditioning people, it's their job. So just keep watching TV and don't question authority, assume the government and the cops are doing everything in their power to protect you from mother fuckers like me who don't wanna get with the program, just don't whine when it all goes to shit.

Ughster i think your right, for the most part. But our government does care about morality, in a kind of sick and twisted way. There is no definition for morality because what is morale for us might be inmorale for another society. The citizenship (us) have morales that we think are great. But the government has completely different morales, morales that are based on what are "best" for the economy etc. The police follow these morales and the morales of the public. Since a majority of the citizenship think drugs are bad, the police follow that morale. No matter what, the government will always differ than us. The police are an example of how they will reach out to us with these morales.

 

It's not morality it's just our paper design for how things should be. Luckily people are considerate enough about our fellow human beings that we have "morals" in place to protect us in some ways, but by and large the society does not give a fuck as long as shit gets done.

 

Not all cops are the same , Something that pisses me off it that my father got a speeding ticket for driver 5 Mph to fast .
If they put those cops who gave him a speeding ticket in a bad neighborhood in Ny or La they could do something good.

 

Master i think you raise an interesting point. Because you see, the police force is not stationed as properly as it should. Yes every community has its bad and good guys, but some need more police than others. I have noticed that the police are not being put into the places that they really should be. I know that they need a lot for 911 calls, but sometimes the person in trouble can not make that call, so they need police nearby to help them. So i think your right in that we need more police in the bad areas. But remember, cops in the "nice" neighborhoods stop drunk, and stupid drivers from hurting anybody. Because when people live in nice neighborhoods, they begin to think nothing can go wrong and start acting like it. But this is how accidents, and death usually happen. So yes, we do need more police in dangerous areas. But remember, as long as there is alcohol and stupidity, we will need them in good ones too.

 

I live in a rural area where everybody drives under the influence. Some people can do it, and others can't.... but the people who do it all the time can drive just fine. But yea, a lot of the times there aren't any cops in the really bad neighborhoods just because of how bad they are. Kinda ironic.

 

There are some good police which serve there duty and respect there community.
There are many police who abuse there powers and think themselves as kings of the world and power to do anything they want, breaking the law themselves.
People have different opinions.

 

Yes, but see the bad cops who break the law are practically immune to the court system because they are almost impossible to find. So, bad cop or not, they do instill justice where it is needed, in a good way or a bad way, it is still justice.

 

Cops should be respected but most are racist, or abuse their power.

 

Off Topic: Police are irl trolls that stir up shit

On Topic: Many police abuse there power. The other day, a new "no left turn" sign was put up. I saw a cop camping the sign and giving everyone that turned a left (basically it was into a gas station and the only other way in is going all the way down to the light pulling into a grocery parkling lot and turning around) and giving people who can't afford them $75-100 tickets. It's really sad, actually.

 

They keep peace, not much more you can ask for. If we did not have police, we would not have rule enforcers therefore people would be free to do what they wanted, steal stuff, speed on the streets putting lives into risk, not go to school therefore the future will be very poor.

 

FUCK THE POPO, Well I don't really like them because they always stop me and my friends to 'ask us questions,' But they always end up searching me and my friend. Thinking we have 'bud.' I think because I'm latin and I live in a 'white area.' But anyways that's what I think.

 

well no duh obviously they are very important without police there'd be chaos, we only hate them, because we want things, that we can't get like getting that free ps3, etc, but the police is preventing you from getting it for free.. i know this is a broad example, and there are better ones, but hopefully you can see my point.

 

i get seriously annoyed by the police but i dont hate them, i think its more me hating some of the laws police enforce
