For the record, I'm the guy who bought this account from PaLi. My first chat with him left me feeling like I was about to get taken, but I figured for only $30 it was worth a shot.

I sent him PayPal and he sent the account details. I quickly logged in and changed the password, email and secret question details before letting him know everything was fine. However, I did receive an email not long after letting me know someone was attempting to reset the password for the account. So, I can only assume it was him trying to sneak it back.

In the end, I did get the account -- but either he or someone else tried to sneak it back almost immediately after. So, take it for what it's worth.

Yes, I know I only have 1 post. This will probably ever be my only post, too. I found this site simply by searching for "steam account" in google.

* Edit: Don't take this post as me vouching for PaLi in any way, I'm just posting the details of the transaction so you can make your own judgements.

 

First, I dont believe that Pali tried to scamm you by taking a risk of getting back the account by email, its too risky, and if he really wanted to scam you he could just take the money and disapear instead of taking such a risk. so it sounds to me that he didn't try to scamm anyone.
And think about it- after selling some one an account, how cant you try getting the account back? you know, its kinda naturally.
