Did you end up buying one?

 

I like my beard, so I usually just run over it using an electric razor with a guide. I've got hair higher up on my cheek and lower down my neck I hate, though, and I used a regular razor to deal with that.

 

I just use standard disposable razors, use it til its too blunt to get a clean shaven look and swap out for a new one.

 

Blessed that I don't have to deal with this issue

 

My barber does it for free now because I tip him fat. But before I would use just use a trimmer. Or trim it down to stubble and start my beard fresh. Could never figure scissors out.

if it's grown out, electric with the little flippy extension to trim it, then shaving soap + double edge razor, followed by proraso balm and moisturizer

 

I currently use a braun series 7 and love it.

 

@Wortel Razor blades ftw. For a dutchie the Boldking series is worth trying out atleast once imo. I wish DollarShaveClub would deliver in the Netherlands, because I would order them for the brand alone. Awesome marketing stunt with their early video:

 

I have tried electric razor many times, no matter the quality they always feel like they a tearing my facial hair out rather than trimming, for this reason I wet shave with a razor

 

I have always used an electric shaver and removed the whole lot.

 

Gillette razor with plenty of shaving cream. Got shaving down to an art now and I can get as close to the bone as possible without literally ripping off my skin.

 

Classic blade no fancy trimmers etc.

 

I've used an electric shaver in the past, but unless you buy one that's well (and I mean WELL) over 100 bucks it doesn't get anywhere near as close as a razor can, depending on your genetic structure (i.e Hair thickness, follicles, etc...) Braun has a great series of quality electric shavers, just make sure you have a cleaning agent to keep it running smooth.

I don't go completely babyface, but I like my beard nice and clean so after my weekly barber visit I just go over the extra hairs that grow over the days as well as maintaining a clean neck. I use a Gillette whatever the sensitive blades are.

 

I use my hair clippers and then use cheap disposable razors to get a nice close shave.

 

When I used to go for the clean shaven look, I would use a Gillette razor and would go for a really close shave. When I went for the stubbly look, that 9 o'clock shadow I'd use an electric razor, but I've been growing all my facial hair out now, so I've got a thick bushy beard, and I only use the electric razor/scizors to trim it down and keep it all in line. Plus I use a Mango and Vanilla beard oil, helps with the itching and dry skin I get from it.

 

Electric buzzers, leave a little bit of stubble.

I absolutely hate using razors or shaving all the way down. The feeling of a fully shaven face rubbing on anything makes me cringe.

 

Same here. Razor for sideburns though since I can't grow a full beard
