Financial Advice

Hello, the reason I am making this point is I am in a perdictament atm. I used to own a partyhat, but had to sell it for financial difficulties. I recently got accepted to an expensive pharmacy school and I am not sure how my financial situation will look in the future since I will no longer be able to work, due to moving across state to the pharmacy school I will be attending in the Fall of 2018. The question I would like to ask is should I somehow find a way to get more hours at work and scrounge up the money to buy a partyhat or finish pharmacy school and buy a partyhat afterwards? The pharmacy school I am attending is a 6 year school. Keep in mind, I only work a maximum of 24 hours a week @ 9 bucks an hour..
Somebody brought up a point that phats will either be super expensive in 6 years or RS3 will be dead...I would like to believe RS3 will still be around or maybe RS4 will be released. Either way, what would be a suitable approach to my problem?

 

I think it goes without saying you should focus on your career over owning a virtual item, especially a cosmetic one.

Party hats aren't long term investments, they're relative to the real world value in gp. Go back quite a few years and you'd pay the same for one cash as you would now. In 6 years I imagine the game will be on it's arse.

 

Gonna back SmokeHut on this. RS3 Party Hats aren't good investments. Their price in gold goes up over time, but that gold goes down in terms of USD over time as well. At best you'd hope to break even. It certainly doesn't generate any reliable interest.

Unless you have a really solid plan that you have tested and proven to earn profit on in-game items, you should treat them as entertainment value only.

 

forget virtual items just focus on irl shit even buying nice shoes/clothes would be a better investment then buying virtual items
