it's not a virus, all it does is delete your internet explorer, which is easily recovered.... well, if you re-dl it, considering it deletes the backup too besides, if you don't know who iamaminer is, or why he's famous, you shouldn't be running this anyway.

At least mention that then. I obviously assumed that the only "iamminer" reference and the whole point of the program was just the quote because the form was left blank. I then figured that x9 must have screwed something up because it's "in a language I know nothing about (C++)" so I'm here thinking it's possibly fucked with some critical Windows files unintentionally.

I just think you need a warning that, that's actually what it does do either in the first post of this thread or in the program itself somewhere.

 

you can't honestly say, that if i was to post "THIS WILL DELETE YOUR INTERNET EXPLORER" that you'd still download it, and run it.

 

I might, after making a copy of it. You could just put it IN THE PROGRAM as I said as well. Just a warning because I didn't figure it would actually do that so I thought it had caused problems with critical files somehow.

 

maybe if i could be fucked, i'll add a timer to the program so that after 5 minutes it'll allow you to click a fix button that'll restore it... god you people have no sense of humour, besides, you should all be HAPPY you have no Internet Exploder, it's a peice of shit browser that doesn't work properly anyway.
