"Nigger" was made as an insult to slaves during that Era. You know who made the insult? White people. It's not like after that, memories were just destroyed ..

Most black people had slave ancestor. For a white person(In their mind, slave master of their brethren) to call a black person a "Nigger", it IS just offensive. It is an insult. ESPECIALLY to them. Not only do they feel hurt, but they feel that their past, history, culture, and people have been insulted.

Blacks don't usually call other blacks "Nigger"s. Over time, due to noticeable insults, the world was changed to "Nigga", referring to friend. It may seem like everyone says that though it's bogus, but it's not. I have black friends, and when I hear one calling the other "Nigga", I don't think of an insult.

Hmm, try this out. This is when you know you're racist/have racist potential in you.

If you're a race other than black. Walk down the street or around town. If you see a black person walking and the FIRST thing you think is something along the lines of "Uh Oh, black person. Don't make eye contact!", then you're racist and should never come to this thread again. Sorry ..

What people are doing now, people are living in the past, they are bringing the past into the present and the past is interfering with the present. That means if good things are going to happen in the present, the past is going to be brought back and tilt the scale.

It's stupid how people bring up slavery because no one in our country today ever had a slave. And people like MLK would be discusted at some people today complaining about how the white man is suppressing them when there is shit like affirmative action and equal rights for everyone, when back then you just got hosed down with water and had to drink from a separate water fountain.

When you are racist to other people, you are creating more racists. So by people calling other people "crackas" "wetbacks" "niggas" you are just making them racist and maybe in a few days you will see one of your family members a victim of a hate crime.

People just have to stop and accept people for who they are, this doesn't mean you have to accept bad people though. The mistake which is racism results from people classifying "bad" people by the color of their skin or their features or the clothes they wear. But you can't classify people like that because not all people like that are bad. And by classifying people like this, you are therefore already assuming what people are like before you meet them and get to know them. And that is how prejudice is born.

 

So that means its not ok for white people to say "nigger" but its ok for them to say "nigga"? Since in your first paragraph you only said that they say "nigger" and in the second one you said that black people say "nigga" between themselves. But what is funny is if a white person calls a black person a "nigga" or a "nigger" they will get the same result.

Sorry buddy but you already proved to everyone in the upper paragraphs that you are a racist. You clearly justified that white people are not allowed to call black people a certain word because of their color.

The thing is though, everyone is/was racist at some point in their life. And im not making this up I have heard many motivational speakers talk about this. Racism is taught, and if you know what it is, you did have a racist thought at one point in your life. Don't even accuse anyone of racism, everyone is a racist, just depends on how much they talk about it and express it. The only way you can stop it is to keep your thoughts in your head and by not teaching it to anyone.

Negro is Spanish for Black (The colour, not the race), and in the same way as we were the "white man" to the Africans, or "pale face" to the Native Americans, Africans were "blacks" to us. Now, saying negros is annoying, to say the least, and saying blacks in a rural state (As were many slave-owning states) could refer to sheep, dogs, anything. So people said "niggers".

The matter of negative racial comments is unneeded and any person who uses these methods of showing a person you dislike them is immature, and not needed in modern society. African Americans tend to be the main ones acting in this manner due to a false sense of pride or justice for their Mistreated ancestors. Caucasians on the other hand are enraged at these people because they don't realize that the African Americans are confused in their own frustration, and don't try to help but instead make matters worse. Simply put, America's Stupidity and Ignorance has caused this, and it WILL lead to a civil war, and i promise you all that with my life.

The masters kept calling the slaves "Nigger" and beating them, so they worked harder as to refrain from being whipped. The harder they worked, the stronger they became .. Which is how they revolted.
