My Suggestion On Path Of Exile Nerfs

In Path of Exile, recently, I saw an old video of a Voltaxic Rift character before the poison meta, relying on ordinary damage scaling, and while Voltaxic Rift was indeed a pretty powerful bow, that was in part due to the playerbase having less wealth than now, and rare alternatives being usually worse.

At some point, Voltaxic fell somewhat out of use in favour of increased use of Windripper and physical bows, but came back in use when people started exploring double-dipping. This was a very OP mechanic so all sources of conversion to chaos damage saw hard nerfs, which made sense at the time, but with the removal of double-dipping seems to have just rendered those poe buy items useless.



With that in mind, I propose that the nerfs on damage conversion to chaos on Voltaxic Rift, The Consuming Dark, and Infernal Mantle be reversed. I also became curious if there were other nerfs that made sense at the time they were made but seem less needed now, and some things came to mind:

Bino's Kitchen Knife also springs to mind. The life regeneration it granted was indeed over the top, especially at the time, but the current life regeneration seems too low, also the DPS is slightly on the low side for the current meta, but probably shouldn't be raised too much. I can't quite figure out whether the life regeneration stacks, but if it doesn't (as I think), I think something like 3000 or so per second would be reasonable to revive the item's feel.

Like with poison, ignite was nerfed to the point where not all fire builds scale it. Pyre has become useless, especially with how it's conversion was lowered to 40%, which I think can also stand to be reversed to the original 100%.

Shavronne's Wrappings with the coruscating elixir and more options for increasing chaos resistance, Shavronne's Wrappings doesn't seem all that attractive, though it is still used. My recommendation here is to increase its ES somewhat (though not back to original values) and make Pain Attunement give a bonus to attack damage as well (probably not quite 30% though), which is also partly because I miss LL attack builds, or perhaps make Crown of Eyes apply multiplicative spell damage modifiers to attacks as well at lower effectiveness.

Maligaro's Virtuosity could also use a slight buff, as could the crit multiplier on facebreaker, which should probably also have its main stat (unarmed damage) buffed to 700-900% or something, apparently people are actually using facebreaker, nvm.

The Blood Dance was already niche and the nerf seems pretty pointless to me, but I might be missing something. As far as I can tell though, it seems like another item that should be buffed back up. There are of course many other unique items that could use a buff, but these are all items that were once pretty popular but got nerfed, and whose nerfs don't seem to make sense in the current meta.
