Official Dragon Ball Super Thread [Spoilers Included]

jesus this epsode was great. the first half was meh but the second half was godlike,waiting that week waas worth it. that plot fucked me when it hit goku when he could have knocked off jiren. also seeing frieza and no17 comme up randomly was weird. all in all good episoode, next week looks good too.

Featuring anyone that isn't the same level, or above the GoD's/Angels/Zenos is pointless IMO. The traction of DBZ has always been, threat appears>battle threat>goku/Zfighters win.

Goku is officially the strongest mortal in all the universes. They said Jiren was said strongest being, and Goku surpassed him. I personally have no interest in watching an Arc where it takes us below UI level. Seems kinda redundant to me.

 

Same sentiments as sellerman on this, the bars been risen for it to drop to lower power levels would be an injustice to the dragon ball community.

It's both satisfying and weird to see Jiren lose his quiet and composed demeanor this episode, acting like just another muscle head antagonist
Jokes aside the episode and action was great to watch.

That ending though hehehe oh yeah, I like.

 

Can't wait till next week to see how this ends

Not a fan of the artwork they'll use in the movies. I've gotten too use to Super

 

it'll be sick to possibly see yamoshi in the movie though, he'd have to be stronk af though

just watched it then, wow i really like the art style used, bit different, is this movie canon? and have they announced when it takes place ?

 

Takes place after Super so I imagine it'd be cannon / Setting up a new series if there is one, like Battle of the gods did for Super.

 

Oh it does feel weird, it doesn't even feel like dbz art style too, imo anyway

Enjoyed the episode overall. Pretty much cemented that DBS will continue in the future.

One thing that really annoyed me however was, Goku stating he can't attain UI again, unless pushed to the edge. Seems like a massive cop out, and makes a lot of this arc redundant. We've basically been told that UI is too OP, and it wont ever be used again/relevant, as any opponent Goku faces (aside Angels/Zeno's) will never be a match.

When DBS returns, and if it's just the usual SSB form, it's going to be quite boring IMO. Rather progress with UI, and stronger enemies, i.e angel level.
