Ideas for what to do with my 360?

Ok, well my 360 just got the "3 red lights of death" error, and i'm not sure what to do about it, since my warranty is voided, i only have a few options.

-fix it myself for around 10 bucks, and a few hours
-try to buy a new 360, and replace mine with the new one, and return it.
-buy a new 360

im not 100% sure what i should do, do all stores check the serial numbers, and check if the warranty is voided?

 

im not sure if the second one would work.
I wouldent buy a new one just yet

And now you are reaping the fantastic benefit of going w/ the 360 and not a PS3! Enjoy throwing away $300 more!

 

PS3 are horrible they have no good games.

Well, I play mostly sports games, so for my intensive purposes, not playing a lot of RPG's won't kill me.

 

So because you mostly play sports games than Xbox360 fails?
