Monley madness for PURES?

What stats are needed to do MM?
What items also?
Would it be possible at 75 range / 60 mage / 1 def / 1 pray?
Also other tips appreciated.

How many sharks?
Is it possible to do with say 75 range / 60 mage / 1 def / 1 pray?

 

Yea, with 1 prayer you may need to bank more often but the exact ammount I'm not sure, I don't use melee pures, sorry.

Ive never used melee pure either.
It's just an option.
Thinking about turning range / mage to melee after I'm over 62 CB.

 

Actually you cant do it with 1 prayer heres why....

1. There are monkey rangers all over the village that you have to cross through many times that can hit up to 14 but you usually have 5 or so on you so you must have protect from range.

2. Another part requires you go into a temple with 150 something Monkey guards who also attack you. You cant run through them becuase they are solid so you must go around them. They hit BIG! Protect from melee is required

3. The Duengon Cave when you have to speak to the gnome mage requires running through a multi combat lvl 140 monkey infested cave for close to 5 mins. This place has parts where 9 monkeys attack you at once. Protect from melee is required.

4. The final battle. This is self explained you have no prayer? He will hit 2 types of attacks Melee and Magic. Your gunna die unless you can protect from one of those two becuase he can hit rapid 30's.

Sry to bring your hopes down but i hate to have to see you get 1/2 through the quest and you realize you cant do it.

PS: get up prayer. A LOT of pures have it. It doesnt raise much combat in fact you can have lvl 99 prayer at lvl 18 or so. Its very fast too if you buy lots of dragon bones go to ahouse party world, go in someones house and bury them on their alter with 2 incense burners lit. you get close to 4x the xp.

 

Pretty much everything you need there. Get prayer to 43 for protect from melee for now, so you can complete MM, then get it to 52 foar Smite.

 

smite blows and only noobs use it. I would have to say that doing MM with a lvl 50 pray pure (43 pray) with no def, magic, or range was very difficult even with the prayer. With a little determination and a lot of trying, you can do anything though. Id get a shit ton of sharks and try it a few times. The apes in the room with the alter will be your biggest concern. They are about impossible without protect prayer. Keep us posted. I would like to see if it is possible.

EDIT: forgot about the final battle. Piece of cake if you are a mage. Sit on the sidelines and cast him to death. GOOD LUCK.

 

Wow, You can do monkey madness with 1 prayer and 1 def....
All you need is alot of sharks and energy pots and super anti poisons, and when fighting the demon hide on the out sides till the gnomes take him down to low life and go and special him...

I have done it on 2 pures with 1 def and prayer... so dont say its impossible to do it with 1 prayer..

 

just let the gnomes do the work

DONT ACCEPT THE AWARD OF EXP!

 

dont accept the award of exp at the end you still finish the quest but then it will get ur attack str and defence up and no one wants that lol. and its easy to do with 1 def 1 prayer just takes like a hour.

 

Lol buddy, I did Monkey Madness at level 27. My account was C_J_P____U_R3 and I had 32 mage, 1 def, 1 prayer, and around 26 hp or so. All you need to do is have a friend run with you in the cave to give food, or even someone with lunars could heal you as you go. Other than that, the Jungle Demon is easy. I just fire bolted him once and then ran and hid again, and he would hit me with his blast attack so I could just eat and redo. After a while, the gnomes killed him too so it was simple. Unfortunately though I forgot to not take the experience reward and my defence shot up to 40 lol so I ruined my pure and its not level 55 lol.
