orbs suck

just thought i'd throw that out there

 

In my opinion, they're circular and awesome and colorful and glossy and circular.

But I spent an hour in PS figuring out how to achieve that orb look. It was not until 2 hours after school I got the shading, etc. nearly right. And Atomic is long gone? I have no idea how I am supposed to get his permission to use his style.

I think there is some very nice orbs, although the majority look cheap and awful.

It just depends on what kind of orb it is. If it is black, with cheap cartoon flames copy and pasted from a Google image with the name 'xxxPKERxxx' sloshed across it, it simply isn't very nice at all.

Azn, Clash said your orb was fine. I think you're okay with it. I definitely don't have a problem with it. I kinda like it. ;p

 

Its all depends on what you like. Quite personally I think they are pretty nice as long as they are done tastfully and skillfully, if you can't make an orb which is either of those gtfo. Whats worse is people who don't understand transperincy and what a .png is.

 

It's not about clashing thinking it's fine, it's Atomic's style, and atomic was not fine with his style being ripped.
