Pwn3d's Law Of Runescape Economy

Pwn3d's law states " an item with a low value will always have a low value, unless said item is removed from RuneScape."
The law also states " a Rare item (IE Santa Hat) will only drop or remain stable, and will only increase in a said price margin."

Examples:
Red Party Hat - 250m before GE/Unbalnced Trade Update
After - The price is dropping between 2-10k per day but will eventually stabalize at around 200-225m.

Th reason no one buys said items like Phats is because they were basicly the equivalant of a Merchanting Cape, if i may use that metaphore.

Pwn3d's Law states " A popular, or needed item (IE BowString) will always stay at the same price margin. Because said item will always have many buyers and just as many sellers. "

The law states " No vast profit will be made through GE trading alone." why you ask? Because if an item always sale for its lowest price then it will not sale in the mid or high price margins because few people will buy. I know what you guys are saying, "What about Merchants guide?" My response to this is, i havent tried it out therefore the law does not change until i myself has proven otherwise. (And no this isnt a scam to get a free copy of his guide.)

This was just a short statment on the livelyness of the runescape economy.

Hail to you mate, a merchanting guide One thing you should add though, NEVER invest in high priced items, IE Bandos Tassets, HORRIBLE thing to invest in.

 

I'm going to prove this wrong when I release my GE merching guide, I made over 50m in a few weeks through pure GE merching.

Number one - a red PHAT hasn't changed price AT ALL in the past 3 and a half months, no idea what your talking about that 2-10k a day crap.

Number two - Why would a santa only lower in price or stay the same, that is very possibly the stupidest shit I have ever heard. Santa hat's cost so much because they are discontinued, and their will never ever be a new one. They can only through time be lost ect. and eventually one day they will be just as rare as a Party Hat is now. (A.K.A Their price will go up alot)

Gold can be made through buying and selling over the Grand Exchange, and Merchant's guide still works to a degree. I'm afraid that a LOT of people are starting to use his guide or similar guides, and it's getting harder to make gold. If I hadn't made modifications to it, it wouldn't work as well as it still does. I can't get into much more detail without revealing the method.
