Transferring name off of a banned account question

Hello, I wanted to know if it was at all possible to transfer a name of an account that is currently permanently banned.

I still have access to the account - however, the account is banned. Is there anyway around this?

You cant change the name of a banned runescape account.

The name is also banned with the account..

Unfortunately there is no way to do this. Although I feel that at some point in the future, some day, all accounts will be unbanned. Perhaps this day may not come until 2028, but it will, and the name shall be set free.

 

Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. It's sad because the name I own is a 1 letter RSN. Sad day.

Just curious, what offences did you commit with your 1 char account, that got you banned?

 

I think it isn't possible to change your account's name whilst it's banned. Good luck with it though.

If the account is banned, they won't let you change the name on it.
