DRIVE YOURSELF TO INSANITY (Very Interesting)

Hey everyone. Ive been thinking a lot lately and iv'e came up with this idea myself. This thread if you read it all and think A LOT about it, could drive you insane. I'm going to ask a series of rhetorical questions. At first they will be solemn, and somewhat easy to answer, but as they go on they will be unanswerable, and question everything. Lets get started... and good luck.

We are all humans on the planet earth...
Whats beyond the planet earth?
the universe
What is the universe?
How can the universe "go on forever"?
When did the universe begin?
If the universe has been in existence forever, how is this possible?
If it began, what was here before it began?
Where is the universe? Its nowhere?
Think of the universe as a huge space going on forever in every direction, with no beginning and no ending in time or space. How can it never end in space? Where is this nowhere that it exists.
Are there other realms?
Is the universe small and there are merely other realms out there?
Why the universe?
This random space in the grand scheme of everything that never ends. Where is this? Why is this? How is this? What is this? Beyond the universe must lie other dimensions.

It wasn't supposed to be "intelligent" its merely to get you thinking.

And it doesn't work on its own. You actually have to THINK(may be hard for some) about whats being said towards the end.

the universe----Nothing; the universe is everything, so if there was something beyond the universe, it would also be considered apart of the universe.

What is the universe?--- Everything

How can the universe "go on forever"? ---It just does.

When did the universe begin?---- Its been here forever.

If it began, what was here before it began? ----It has been here forever.

Where is the universe? Its nowhere?---- Its everywhere, because our definition of the universe is everything in existence, if it exists, its in the universe.

Why is this?-----It seems to me that you're asking what the meaning of life is. If you don't believe in a divine deity, than there is none. Only that which you make for yourself.

How is this?---- It just is.

What is this? -----The universe.

Beyond the universe must lie other dimensions. --------If there is anything beyond the universe, it would still be considered the universe.

ive thought about it before so kinda pointless..

 

the universe hasnt been forever.
the universe was created by the big bang, what was before it and what caused it no one knows.
and yes the universe is constantly exanding in every direction, creating space as it goes. there is nothing beyond the universe as the universe is everything.
and when u speak of realms are you referring to galaxies? our entire solar system is in 1 of billions of galaxies, which really makes our little world here on earth feel very insignificant.
to think that if our whole galaxy was to just implode, it would make no difference to the rest of the universe.

 

if you think of the fourth dimension, time, as just an extension of space, then the universe doesn't go on forever, and there are, in fact, other "realms" before and after our known universe.

once the velocity at which galaxies are moving apart slows down, dark energy will pull everything back together, i think.

 

It is impossible for matter and energy to be created. So its rational to assume that the Big Bang was not the beginning, nor was there ever a beginning.

 

Space doesn't go on forever, it's expanding.

 

Lol, it didn't confuse me. It's actually simple questions to answer. Seeing at one of the above posters answered them i don't see a reason why i need too. I would also like to clearify that the universe is something we don't know everything about yet.

 

I only have to think "Nothing else than life exists. When I die it's the end. There is NOTHING else than life!"

 

The universe does not go on forever. I win.

 

I don't understand how its not infinite. There would be a point where there would be no more matter; since it all started from the center, the Big Bang, and expanded from there. But after that point there would still be empty space.

 

Actully you do not know that the world doesn't go on forever.
have you been to space xjaa? didnt think so...
so i have a statement that space does go on forever and there will be amazing
discoveries to be found

 

Smart ass over here. "it just is" isn't a real answer bud. no one knows why we are here and wat is really out there. just enjoy life and don't waste your days wallowing over these questions.

This is the concept of religion. This is why people actually die for their religions, because they beleive a greater power than themselves will grant them eternal satisfaction.

This is how religion started, so you my friend are about 10,000 years behind.

Why the fuck would Xjaa need to go to space? What, to think is it big? Just because something is big does not mean it goes on forever.
