[DENIED] add topic at max main rental

Dear sythe

my suggestion is regarding the max main rental, cuz i've been noticing people dont realize, that if you keep your alt account at the place ur stwking, u dont have to xfer all ur gp but just the gp, that you're staking and you can xfer it after every stake, having this sticky would decrease the bigness of the scams max main rental scammers have, which might nt be too small of a difference but every % counts right?


So pretty much have a sticky with tips such as just having the amount of gp your staking on the acc, and rest on ur main and not showing how much your staking
( PS if you guys notice my english is beter now, ive been working on it.)

 

In practice this sounds like a good idea, in reality nobody actually does this.

Out of the like 10,000+ rentals we did, I never once saw or heard of anyone doing this.

People are lazy.

+ Trading gold constantly is not good for either account.

I think this is just common sense really, the majority of scams are because people are renting from newcomers. That’s where our focus should be, preventing these serial ban evaders from being able to rent their accts.

 

seems like common sense if you want to be extremely cautious. Just rent from people that have proven their trust or do very small amounts if you don't trust anyone at all.

The point im trying to make is, if people read about it it'll stay in back of there hesds and they might do it

 

Would be pointless to make a sticky just to write some common sense, especially since most people choose to ignore them anyway.

Anyways, no support. Would be hard to enforce and people would just bitch when they inevitably lose large sums of money like they did yesterday. Sounds good in theory but nah

 

I wouldn't be opposed to this but if someone is willing to make a list of best practices and tips when renting accounts, then by all means I'm open to hearing suggestions and also looking at the possibility of putting a sticky outlining these best practices.

 

I'm not opposed to it, but [PLEASE READ] Rent accounts with the utmost caution! comes to mind for me. If you are going to rent a staking account follow the proper guidelines to ensure your safety, and trading the account a lot couple come off as fishy, just me though, no support.

 

This is what i do already, and anyone with common sense really should lol.
No support as it just clogs up the stickies and takes away from more important stickies.

 

I think it's important to consider that the people chiming in on this suggestion aren't really the ones who will be using a sticky thread like this anyways. It's always good to outline tips for people first getting into things. If you really think about it, one of the biggest detractors on this site is when newcomers first try out a service or make a purchase, get scammed or have a bad experience, then never want to participate ever again. Then they label Sythe as an unsafe trading platform because of their one bad experience where they lacked the knowledge (or "common sense") of being proactive or exhibiting safe trading practices. Ultimately, we lose out on having actives members of the site who one day may make positive contributions to the community. I think this is a step in the right direction, common sense or not, I'm in support of this one.
