Charged back myself + 3 other sythe users via UKBT (Will give the names to a mod if needed).

Mayhs55 claimed goods were not received on 3 payments and claimed he had contacted the bank to get the case dropped.

I gave all my evidence to the bank 3 weeks ago. Today all my evidence was accepted and my funds were returned to me, the bank didn't once mention to me that he made any effort to drop the case, even though i had asked multiple times.

 

@Lrug Dord do you have any correspondence with your bank which you are comfortable providing?

@mayhs55 do you have anything to contribute?

All correspondence with the bank was over the phone or in branch, i would have to request something in writing if needed, i just have his name + him claiming to contact the bank to get it resolved.

 

Made a deleted post with links to his ID -removed-. Did not end up selling him gold however since he was sketchy.

 

@Lrug Dord could privately post him stating his name?

Also - would you be able to let me know who the other 3 users are? In order to rule an attempted scam he'd have to admit he tried to chargeback or evidence that shows he did so.

 

@Vlad me and mentarley were also chargedback - found out today my bank kindly told his bank to fuck off after we've provided them with all the evidence so no funds were lost - just a major inconvinience and attempted fraud.

Again like with OP don't have letters or anything, was a phone call then had to go into branch

With the current evidence, I can link the identity to the Sythe account, however as there is no proof he claimed goods not delivered other than word of mouth I'm not able to do anything further.

If any of you are able to get evidence from your bank etc that a chargeback claim was initiated by him, please open a new thread and action can be taken.

As it stands, he remains with his TWC unless more evidence can be contributed.

PS- good to hear that you all received your money in the end.
