Is this still possible? I've googled but haven't found much. Long story short, my brother is a stuck up windows prick, and I'd like to have some fun with him. :)

You could always rather than attack the OS attack the computer itself, hammer or chainsaw.

    ...LOL.

I've seen old programs for crashing using large/malformed packets, but I could not manage to find one, nor do I have the UNIX experience to do it via command line.

    Kill winlogon.exe .

It'll give a bluescreen, then shut down.

Some methods aren't able to kill winlogon.exe, so you might have to experiment.

Your talking POD (Ping Of Death)? Good luck finding an un-patched system vulnerable to that...

Hm, that article also linked to another on the Ping Flood. That is also something I'd like to try. Would I just open as many Command line windows as possible, and have them all like...

    ping -c 100 -s 8000 10.0.1.3

    ?

Don't do that, especially if you don't have the bandwidth to suffice.

DoS'ing in general is never good. I thought you were just trying to crash windows.

Windows XP is susceptible to an IFrame continually loading itself.
Simple to create, simple to hand out a link.

That's not particularly remote, is it?

DoS'ing a computer is not of much use, normally. A shitty firewall can block all requests. Believe me, a RAT is much more fun to use.
