Realistically, how many teachers want to be armed? If an incident occurs, how many teachers will stand up and actually fire their weapon in defense?

What about theft of the weapons or the weapon safes? What about non school shooting uses (which there will inevitably be)?

What money will pay for this? School budgets are bone dry for books and such, how will they afford guns and safes?

And there are those teachers in the system currently. If a school shooting or mass shooting starts, they may Even stop it (people like this in the right place in the right time have done so). But does this mean if they are armed and they don’t due to freezing, they are thought less of, or even potentially in trouble?

Yes, I read your second reply. I just think the notion of arming teachers is ridiculous. I also think the notion that guns kill people, cars drive drunk and spoons make people fat is ridiculous too. It’s a tough spot
