Noticed it in some previous weeklies too but I didnt care enough to say it back then. Havent played the game myself yet but when comparing BlackBlasses' recording to Ultimay's recording you can see Ultimay is 'abusing' lag to make the game way easier.

I already brought this up to someone from the CDT some time ago but that is one of the easiest way to cheat in a reaction-based flash game: just make your entire browser lag so the reaction-zones get way bigger by creating lag, thus decreasing the difficulty.

 

I'm just recording, not abusing anything. Just with the previous competition where you guys can't click so fast as me. That you're not #1 every single competition i can't do anything about that.
It's not even fun anymore to even join in such competitions because i'm getting accused of cheating every single time while i'm doing everything in the legit way.

 

Island liked the post guys, creating lag is therefor allowed to make the playing field even. Cant expect us to play the game on a 4x difficulty level compared to other participants right, where is the fun in that?

 

If you cant see the difference between the speed Ultimay's game is going after 02:00 minutes of playing, which is extremely slow and makes the game very easy, and the speed BlackBlasses' game is going after 1:25, which is much faster, you're blind.

It's very clear that situations like this should be avoided, where Ultimay is allowed to play his game and submit his score with a difficulty that is unfair to all other participants playing the game normally, without lag. Tell me how it's harder to reach 52k at a snail pase where you can dodge and switch to the right block easily in time compared to when the speed is progressing normally.

But again, if you and Ultimay can legitemately submit a score with lag, so can everyone else. Why would I play it normally on my high-end pc when I know I can create lag and play the game at a snail pase and get a nice and easy high score.

 

Ultimay cheating? Unheard of!
