Bella - Using Macros for services

Explain the service: To start off, I was recently requesting for someone to cook my 12k lobsters here since I wasn't able to properly afk it due to college, work & other life things and I wanted to get the proper cooking level to complete RFD next weekend since that would bring me quite close after xp gained from completing each miniquest until its completion of the quest.

Proof that the service was not completed:

User said that they weren't able to complete it. Notified me and got off the account. Which was alright at this point since they never finished up the service anyways, and also the report is more about the use of macros. Gave them the option to continue on tomorrow, but they never responded back after that.





They were also online before I sent the last message, then went away after 10 mins.
Received a ban on the 12th for Macroing



Bit of additional information. They contacted me Sunday after midnight about services, but the services didn't begin until around noon that same day. At around 2pm, they contacted me again saying they weren't able to finish the job and that it would be a free service. I offered them the choice to continue on the next day, but I received no response. Checked the account when they said that they weren't able to finish it and the money and amount of lobsters were still there.

The next day I tried to log on the account since I had about 2 hours of free time and I wanted to just finish some myself, and saw my account was banned. I had never done any botting before, as this was all hand done and everything fresh. This was also the only offence on the account for anything, which adds on to why I think the user was botting on my account to complete the services (and I was also surprised that a first time my account had been allegedly using a macro turned into a perm ban).

I can possibly try to find more proof that seems to pinpoint it more towards them rather than me, but I would need to be told what proof I need and I'll try to add more proof as deemed necessary.

No idea what happened to his account, i was able to about 2-3 hours of cooking for him before irl issues popped up. Left his money on the account and told him it was a free service. I do not have access to any macros or bots of any kind.

Also, he had logged back into the account he told me after to make sure everthing was ok. I didn't have access to the account for 2-3 days before the account got banned. No idea if he let other people on it or if he himself botted.

 

Can you provide me some sort of proof that you hand-trained these levels? Like screenshots on OSBuddy / the actual RS client would work.

 

Nope, only proof i got is chat logs providing that during my service the account was safe. 2 days later it got banned when i never had access to it.

From the time you got off (2:04PM Sunday), to when I found out I received notification about the ban (around 8:30AM Monday), that was less than 24 hours, not 2-3 days later as you stated above.

 

You realized you got banned monday but didnt tell me until tuesday morning? You're just trying to frame me.

You're just trying to get something out of your own stupidity for botting or allowing someone else on the account who uses bots.

 

To make it more clear, I was NOTIFIED Monday night about the ban, but I didn't find out until tuesday morning when I tried to log in.

Like I said to you before, if I was botting, why would I pay for someone to do services on my account when I could just bot it? Think a bit more logically.

 

While I do understand that you may find it obvious to yourself that you didn't bot on your own account after ordering a hand done service, there is no real way that we can prove if the skiller did, or didn't bot on your account, and thus can not hold him responsible for the ban that was placed on your account, especially with the evidence displayed here. I've requested for the removal of your DNT in the meantime @Bella. Although I'm sorry for your loss you could possibly try to get your account unbanned. Try to file a recovery from the website where you let Jagex know that your account has been compromised. In rare cases they tend to manually review the ban and quash it when they see the ban didn't come from your IP.
