    What's Beyond Space?

Also, space is just a vacuum filled with a definite volume which can always be withheld.

    What's Beyond Space?

Quantum mechanics tell us that when you cross infinity (first dimension), with time (fourth dimension), you get photons that travel through a vortex of infinite capacity, but because time in inverted, and because space curves, that forms a logical loophole in the space-time continuum which then identifies itself as a parallel universe; while this theory is greatly dismantled, it is still deeply studied and theorized more. Although, quantum mechanics also tell us that because space is....well.....space, something has to fill it due to its volume, yet external mass. This filling is black holes, which exploit the infinity-time theorem. Due to the fact we cannot see black holes but we know that they exist, we know that have some correlation to dark matter, which is believed to make up parallel universes. I could go into this much deeper, but i would tire myself ;) Comments yeh?

    What's Beyond Space?

you could go on forever and forever and still not get there to the end of the universe and never make it

    What's Beyond Space?

The universe cannot be infinite, you will only never reach the edge because it is curved.

    What's Beyond Space?

    A. circle is infinate in a sense.
    B. I agree that space is curved, but my thoughts were that the matter in it bend the space around it.

does the idea of space being a bubble of sorts coincide with the idea that the universe is only what we know, derived from the bog bang (expanding in a sort of 360 degree bubble)?

If so, I don't necessarily agree. As the known universe is just that, omly what we know.

    What's Beyond Space?

i think that space is infinite. it is hard for humans to believe it because no object on earth is infinite. anything that could be infinite on earth is imaginary.

space most likely doesn't come to an "end" but it could come to a point of no energy exscaping or such. think of 2 mirrors facing each other, the reflection bounce back and forth never ending. so it may be possible that space is growing, but after that there is still something most likely a series of black holes and such

    What's Beyond Space?

sorry for gravedigging here, but i think my answer is helpful.
You know how when you go around the globe, you get back to where you started? That's because you're moving in two dimensions. But when people started to think in the 3rd dimension (depth), then they knew how to get into the sky. What we need to do is think of a fourth dimension, like a z chart on a graph- every one of the three axes is perpendicular because it works in three dimensions. What I am saying is that the 4th dimension (time) will be our passage out of this plane, or universe. The problem is that, like figuring out how to get off Earth, it was a while before we actually executed. We need a time machine.
And the big bang theory states that eventually the universe will come back together, and then expand again; those repeating universes ("parallel dimensions") are the alternate realities; perhaps there is even a Bigger Bang which resets everything; there is no gravity, and the most absic shape for the new humans is the tesseract (hypercube), and they take as long as we did to get off the earth to discover time. Who knows?

dont ask this question. it doesnt matter. what matters is living in the thing thats holding us together. thinking outside the box just leads you to another box.....if you think about it....thoughts can be infinite.....you can go on, we are just a complex thought that never dies....

From things I have studied and seen on the Science Channel, personally I believe the Parallel Universe theory is the best. Some scientists think that the reason this universe appears to be stable, is because other Parallel Universes suffer chaos, such as areas where the laws of Physics as we know them do not apply. I find that theory very intriguing.

    What's Beyond Space?

i really wish you people would study physics before posting on this subject.

space isnt nothing, and space doesnt go on forever. the universe is constantly expanding in every direction, creating space. if something is expanding then there must be a parameter, which would mean there is an end.

there isnt anything outstide of the universe as the universe is EVERYTHING, therefore nothing can be oustide it, or it would just be part of it.

how does being curved make it impossible to reach the edge? every shape has a circumference.
and its impossible to reach the edge of space as it is explanding at such a rapid speed.

    What's Beyond Space?

read my other post. there cant be more space outside the universe otherwise it would be part of the universe as the universe is everything.

    What's Beyond Space?

    My theory:
Space is space and there is not anything after it. There can't be something after a thing that will never end.
Think about this: What is space? Well, its obvious isn't it? 'Space' is exactly what the word implies. Space. There is nothing there. If you go up into outer space and float around, you are not suspended in air. There is no up or down. There is no direction. Because "space" is space. (aka: nothingness)

So you can't have something after nothing, right? Therefore, there is not something beyond our universe, because our universe is nothing.
Yet there are still things in our universe.

    What's Beyond Space?

maybe like our earth, round, so if you go far enough you will eventually start heading back toward where you started?

I think space ends in one place at that one place there is the old life like the spartans and greeks and all those other things.

    What's Beyond Space?

stop saying theres more space!! the universe is everything so if there was space there it would just be part of the universe!!!

you cant have someone outside of the universe cos the universe is everything!!!
