Making this report on behalf of @richard hanx , @Milotic received 1k USD for 07GP, and hasn't given the GP.

milotic than has richard send 1k USD to a different BTC address for GP, but tells him another user would be delivering it. He is no longer responding to Richard in Discord after receiving the funds:

He's using Discord Nitro to look like my tag, Milotic (lower case i, lower case l)
He uses lowercase i, and an uppercase i to make it look very similar to my own.
Apart from changing my display pictures regularly, there's nothing I can do to avoid this.

that is an imposter milotic. with the new nitro perk you can change ur numbers to anything. the discord in the scam report uses a capital i instead of an l. milotics real discord doesnt use nitro.

That would mean that you changed your tag to something different, to allow this to happen.

 

because they are different names Miiotic and milotic. you can change your numbers. its a current bug with the update.

 

or if not a bug, something thats intended but was highly overlooked.

 

Not a bug. I'm sure if you tried to take my exact tag, it wouldn't let you.

His tag is different to mine, so it lets him.

 

No two users can have the same number's in their discord tags.

Milotic intentionally changed his numbers to allow this scam to happen.

 

They have never changed.

The discord milotic has on sythe, is the same discord that conducted the trade. No two users can have the same discord tag numbers.

Milotic#1340 is NOT the same as MiIotic#1340.

I'm trying to take this seriously, but you can't be this dense. Milotic#1340 is not MiIotic#1340. Copy paste his name if you want, change the font, blow it up into size 50 if you like. It's not my Discord.

its obvious the real letter l is higher than the capital i. wont be responding again as there are very capable mods on sythe.

 

I've confirmed with Discord, that no two users can have the same Discord numbers, but user can change lettering at the ready.

 

@richard hanx do you have PM from @Milotic where he confirms the Discord you are messaging is him?

@richard hanx & @Protector i've spoken with @Milotic and there was no Sythe confirmation PM sent. I'm sorry but you were scammed by an imposter, when trading over Skype or Discord you should ALWAYS request a confirmation PM to make sure you are talking with the correct person. I'm sorry for your loss.

You should give this thread a read - Verify the user you are speaking with before trading!
