there human, no matter what, i believe gays shouldnt be able to marry, as man + woman should stay the same just as American colonies were established to have religious freedom in order to worship God.

Actually, one of the primary tenets of the United States is that government and religion are completely separated.

You stupid noobs say how "unnatural" and "wrong" gays are, yet what about people born with disabilities, they are "unnatural" and are they "wrong"??? Just because people are born different doesn't make them UNNATURAL or WRONG. Why don't you stupid nerds get off the computer for 5 seconds and get some real life experiences.

How does it feel to become what you hate?

You can't just say something is unnatural and wrong and have it be so, but that swings both ways.

That is open to interpretation. The origional intention when first written was the the government shall impose no restriction, nor requirements, for any person or group of peoples to adhere by that dictates or restricts which religion they may choose.

Today it is commonplace for people to assume that it means government and religion can have no affiliation with one another; which is not the origional reason for the creation of the law.

FYI: The reason for creation was because in England the throne and other European nations were imposing rules dictating which religions were to be followed. If the stated regulations were not followed the people may be subject to death. Thus the creation of "separation of church and state".

    i am you aint i-
    "rooney -

so you are saying seperate us like whites did to blacks? I wonder what that will cause, and the violence that will happen."

No not at all. Gender separated facilities are in place, no violence has erupted from this that I know of...

It is not a matter of racial difference as the basis of separation, rather the basis of sexual attraction between one select person or group of people towards people who are discomforted by such actions.

Don't tell me it isn't a sexual attraction either. If they had no sexual attraction to other men, they wouldn't have sex.

And it's the same premise as sticking a man in a female changing room. If a woman strips down to nothing but her underwear and bra, I'm sure you'll be aroused and thus causing the female to be uncomfortable.

Personally, I'd be pissed as hell if some gay was getting turned on by me taking my clothes off to change because I'm mandated to do so or else I don't get a participation grade for physical education. I'd rather not subject myself to that...

    Incorrect.

First of all, the wording of that part of the First Amendment is: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." This clearly means that they will not make laws promoting or restricting any particular religion. There is no way that this can be done unless religion is completely left alone.

Second, in 1802, Thomas Jefferson sent a letter to the Danbury Baptists, where he specifically states that "religion is a matter which lies solely between Man and his God". He also specified that the First Amendment would build "a wall of separation between Church and State". As one of the Founding Fathers, I would credit him with free license to speak on the meaning of the Constitution.

If you are gay then it can not be helped and that is the way you are. If you feel the need to express love to another gay man then that is your decision.

It still doesnt conclude why many gay men are discriminated against.

I never said its right, but you cant just come on a thread, say its wrong and thats it.

You should not judge someone just on there sexual orientation.

You love to strongly disagree on this topic it seems =\
why do you dislike the idea of this so much?

I dont get it people lay off the subject because I am almost certain that half of you dont even know what love is if you were in love it would matter to you.
Just because someone likes something you dont doesnt mean you have to be all neo nazi and disaprove of their rights.

I like pie and my friend likes cake but I dont say he doesnt deserve his freedoms because he likes cake thats the whole point of being a human is to do what you want not to be oppressed by our already pardon my french fucked up society.

I really have no idea how many times I have to repeat this ....lol
