signature advice

hey this is a sig i made in photoshop hope u like it
you may say whatever this is one of my firsts and wont be last

i dont know how to make it just an img

 

There's really no blending between the render(s) and the background, and exactly how many renders are there? Text?

Kind of a mess.

 

so what do you think i should do then?
heres a new one i blured it

 

Pretty good, just add more motion in the background and make the text blend in more + act more lively

 

5w33t, i'm not as optimistic as you lol, the text, make the shadow larger than the text, but only by a bit, the renders are too blurred (yes i know they have a fuzzy 1px edge if you havnt configured youre magic wand in ps (set it up properly),
my advice:
try to find a decent stock or render with maybe a white border, so it's easy do delete, and try only blend the edge of the render. your sig doesn't have a "flow" to it, try to make it seem as if has movement.
read some tuts and you'll be gr8 in no time though =]

 

Billy can you explain how the dodge tool works really?

 

I hate it but as its your first go i'll let you off.

just work on better quality and make it neater.

The drop shadow or whatever that black is behind the text makes it confusing and hard to read.
