ranged and strength level

Hi all.
Been making a pure, and just wondering if there are any benefits of having a higher strength or ranged level apart from a new max hit?
For instance, my ranged max hit at level 95 doesn't increase as I level up. I wonder if it's pointless to get any more ranged levels? Same goes for strength. Are there any intermediary benefits until you reach a new max hit bracket?

It should increase your max hit depending on what gear your using and also gives a higher chance to hit your max hit I believe

 

I don't know in-depth game mechanics but what about the accuracy of your max hit as it surpasses your 'max hit level'. You could also consider the skill cape benefits and whether you think it's worthwhile for your situation or not.

 

A bit late but, all damage numbers are rounded down to integers. However, they are still supposedly rolled as decimals.

So say your max hit goes from 10.0 to 10.9 by levelling . You still can't hit higher than 10, but the chances of you rolling something >9.99 are much higher. In short:Your DPS is increased.

99 range also increases the accuracy you wont hit a 0.

 

You mean less chance to hit zero obviously your gear bonus affects range accuracy as wel
