    Being 'Older'..

Well, I'm 13, and me and my friend on MSN were having a convo about being older, I personally can't wait to get my lisence, getting drunk..ect.

But is being older all it's worked up to be? I personally wouldn't know, as for I'm only a young child with a big curiosity for everything, I try to explore everything and everyone..

So is being older, great or not?

    Discuss.

There are benefits, but largely, the older you get, the shittier life gets. Don't get too excited.

Ll, I actually agree with you there. Like being 10 was amazing, now I'm 13, it's been getting hard. :/

Anyone else have anything to add?

    Edit: woo 200 posts =]]

I'm 14. Being older doesn't so much matter. Its just a few years closer to the day you die. For some reason, the majority of society is biased towards teenagers etc and tend to treat them like small children.

I must say, you sound like a moron/dickhead/idiot/cunt, due to the fact that the only reason you want to be older is to get drunk and drive. Personally I'm more focused on getting a well paying job - theres a lot more in it than a headache tomorrow and the day after - which is why I focus a lot on computer based skills, such as programming (not the VB shit) and possibly gaming as a side-job.

None-the-less, age doesn't matter. You're most likely still on your way through puberty, and as such still think like a child in terms of alcohol, smoking and driving. I'm not trying to sound like I brag, but I am unfortunate enough to have a disorder which makes me grow about twice as fast as anyone else, so I've been there and done that. It isn't terribly great.

EDIT: Shredder, one of the best benefits is being treated like a real person, not a child. Wouldn't you agree?

Ahh, im 15 and the thought of being old scares me :(
Even though its not like this, in the big picture i think of it as after your youth is over life slowly just goes downhill until death.

I hate that, It's annoying when parents still don't trust you ect.

It's not the only reason. As for the job aside, I have my own talent, It will never be shown on Sythe, as for my camera is broken, and would rather not show.

Yes xD. And I understand, I have a friend who has the same.

    being a teenager is perfect
but, once you get older the girls get bigger (in size) and you go to college (play 360 all day and party at night =]) and then get married and have children (making them=best part)

    =]

    I'm 16 now, turning 17 in September.

I always wanted to grow up, I thought life would be a lot better, but it's not. The older you get, the harder it gets, you have to start relying on yourself.

Just enjoy being young ... Do as much as you can. Right now, since I'm in my last year of school, I am having to study nearly every moment.

I remember my primary school days, the good old times ... Some of the best I had.

I'd pick being under 12 than being 25+ anyday.

Driving really isn't all that it's cracked up to be, and drinking really doesn't matter if your the legal age or not. Sure there are a few benefits, but making decisions such as what university you want to go to, what you want to study, what job you'll be in for the rest of your life. That sucks.

It's good that you're not being unrealistic about it, although becoming older does not revolve around binge drinking, or driving cars.

You have a string of education to go through beforehand, and I suggest you focus on that, for the time being.

In my opinion, being older offers more luxures, but with them comes responsibility. Being young, you can still rely on your parents, or whoever, but are restricted from some things you want to do.

I mean its cool until your about 14. When you make career choices.

    But being Young Rocks.

When i was 14 i remember regretting the decisions I made when i was younger.

Getting older will getr you alot of phases. But basically Being Young Rocks
