I recently bought a norco sasquach, great bike.

    http://www.norco.com/bikes/mountain/shore_hardtail/sasquatch.php

I am learning some tricks, but I have been riding for years now. I can mono (e.g. wheelie) ok, but my jumps aren't the best. I use to be able to do stoppies on my old bike, but I don't wanna ruin my new one, it's also painful when your flying downhill and your stoppie goes too far =P.

A good place to learn tricks is youtube. Or just go down to your local BMX track like me (if you have one).

BMX bikes are useless seeing as skateboards are the only thing good for tricks and BMX can't handle on mountain trails very well.

First mate try and get 3 peice cranks.

if your handle bars are to long.. you can cut them in ( take grips off and saw of the bars untill suitable length)

For a easy place to check parts. go to ebay.com

It shows pictures of bikes + descriptions of bikes and a good price.
Oh also what kind of tricks are you trying to do?

and are you planning to ride street/vert/dirt.

    cheers Jay

I'm not messing around or anything but these forums arn't really the place to ask. But try googling "BMX forums" or "BMX", ect that way you'll know that you'll be in the place orientated around what your looking for. ;).
