Best mp3 player for the price?

true - but have huge cons:
    • cannot delete on device - must plug in!
    • can only play mpg4 videos -.- MUST CONVERT!
    • itunes is a pain to get used to - NO DRAG AND DROP!
    • scratch attractor
    • theres some more but i forgot ><

still i like my ipod - play games on it

and concerning Archos media players - as great as they are, too big for my liking - and my old 404 had too many bugs and battery life was pathetic 1/2 films and boom! lol

I would get an iPod, simply because they are small, easy to use, and you know the quality you are getting. You aren't getting some non-brand name mp3. Trust me, this iPod will work forever if you treat it correctly. It won't screw up your songs either like those really really cheap ones.

    olol

They changed that with Generation 5. Now it takes hours to charge (by USB) but can hold up to 8 hours of battery life.

The sansa is a good MP3 but sometimes it has the tendency to freeze now and then. Ipod is pretty good and you can drag n drop to add to it. You could probably get one on ebay for $120.

Ive also heard good things about creative zen but Ive never had one so I don't know.

The sansa is a piece of crap. Don't buy it. It freezes constantly and after 4 months it just stopped working and they wouldn't do anything about it under warranty.

iPod is the number one mp3 music player for a reason. Any mp3 player that syncs with windows media player automatically sucks in my book.

Also if you told us what your needs are(how much music you have etc.) we could help you better.

iPods may be the most popular, but they aren't the most bang for the buck IMO.

    Choose a Sony or Creative.

Check out the iRivers. Although there's no video, they're a great value. I got the 20gb H10 model for $200 two years ago, and it still works flawlessly today. I'd highly recommend them to anyone! Plus it doubles as a portable HD. =]
