Inferno capes buyers still being tackled down?

Wondering if JaGeX is still looking for inferno cape buyers or if it's still a bit too early. If you've bought/sold an inferno cape lmk how it went

 

Damn, gonna have to wait until later in the year then =(

 

Sounds like a real hassle to do over TV, the amount of lag and or delayed clicks are enough to just say fuck it and attempt it yourself.

 

I can tell you right now, I'm not letting no Inferno nerd access to my entire PC when the whole experience can go from watching them complete the boss fight for me to directing towards my enormous and sensitive highly classified folder of explicit things. No siree.

 

I think the only capers at the moment are very cautious and don’t have many clients banned. I’ve spoken to cickarful and pink clay about this. But if you get a cape on your first attempt on a different IP I’m sure that would look hella suss. Also if you get a cape on a 1 def pure I’m sure here’s a 50% chance of getting banned

 

You think it might look less suspicious if they play on the account for like a week on their IP before attempting it? Perhaps to make it look like it's a vacation or something?

 

they also removed a players infernal and banned him temp he ended up getting one legit 2 months later but that one was wiped incorrectly as well,

damn jagex being over zealous again i think he went on twitter and the mod admitted to making a mistake and only gave him a month to make up for it but he would rather want the cape id wager.

 

I reckon if you play it careful you can get one. Surely jagex have better things to do nowadays then watch over who has a +4 are bonus more than others

 

tbh its not even the bonuses its the respect (lol i know respect for a pixel cape) and prestige that comes with clearing the hardest pvm content in the game, thats why they are so tough on sellers others dont want their capes devalued by letting others do them for gp.

 

From what I heard Mod Sween from the OSRS team is still hard headed about it.
