Unlike you, I can argue a point I don't necessarily believe in. It's called objectivity, and good luck writing persuasive essays without making balanced and fair arguments.

Well its not my fault i didn't read all of your posts, its your fault because you imagined me to not read them. And now you are getting pissed about it.

Who made your subconscious? I would assume your parents brought you into this world, but if your parents are your imagination, then your parents couldn't have been your creators. So how did you come into existence?

Didn't say there wasn't a universe, just said I dreamt up this one.

There isn't any way to prove him wrong. You could say that the universe is your imagination though and not his, and he couldn't prove you wrong either.

    I wasn't spamming.
I was saying that when he said that "you could imagine that YOU were imagining things and not him", it would not be proving him wrong.

i think there is as much chance of proving darby wrong as there is convincing a christian that there is no God.

Were all just an imagination of ourselves, created and controlled by ourselves.

There are also theories that we are just information, bits of data.

Imagination is defined as mental images or pictures that YOU control. Does your life always go as planned or as you want it to?

That's not what he's saying, he's saying that his mind is the only thing that exists. Just think of it this way, your brain is in your skull and receives electrical impulses that control sight, hearing, and other senses. If there was a brain in a machine instead of a skull, and it received the exact same impulses, you would still perceive life the same way.

So he's saying that everybody's life is different, with different people, interactions, and emotions?

No, he's saying he's the only thing that exists, while this from our point is easily proven false, there is no way you can prove it false to him.

Exactly what I said in the first place. If he was the only one who existed and his imagination ran his life, then everything would be fine and dandy with no complications.

I still don't understand how thats not a forum of imagination. In the illustration shown there, the brain has a bubble saying "I'm walking in the sun."

That to me says that the brain is imagining walking in the sun, and the computer or whatever makes it a reality. In that case, wouldn't anything you think of become a reality?

No, the machine is sending impulses that control what the brain perceives as sight and other senses, if it was something where you imagined stuff and it became real that sounds like someone on too much crack.
