Coinbase not sending correct amounts

Sometimes when I send from coinbase, I input the amount for X usd, then I even get the message You sent 0.X BTC ($X) to [email protected].
Then when I go to check, it's a different amount. Just 5 minutes ago when I tried sending $60, it said $60 was sent then I check and it's only $6 that i've sent

 

It happens all the fricking time :/ I hate it.

 

Lol this happened to me too I coulda sworn I put the right amount

 

Especially when you copypaste the sending message then they check and they didn't get the right amount, then you have to convince them coinbase messed up and you aren't scamming them

 

Since I figured this out before everyone else apparently:

If you input an amount without backspacing a variable number you will send the amount ur trying to send - 1 digit(so $600 is $60).

The fix to this is quite easy.

Enter their email, enter a USD value(in this case $500), backspace PRECISELY one digit(so one 0) changing it to $50 in the USD value box then re-type one 0 (so its back at $500) and it will send the proper amount.

You have to backspace 1 digit then add it back for it to send the proper amount each time, otherwise u sometimes get the issue OP is describing.

any idea on why a billion dollar company has yet to fix this apparent issue? Or is this something the users themselves are doing wrong?

 

Still not fixed, happens way too often when i'm betting, literally sent 2x in a row just there now where it sent a tenth of the amount I entered :/

Yeah I started doing that ever since I read your post, Thanks for sharing.
The site seems too buggy for how big/widely used it is, even their 2fa doesnt work properly, I get 2 SMS containing 2 different codes, sometimes neither of those even work so I have to request another sent out.
