drugs shold NOT become legal it messes up peoples lives bigtime , it gives a buzz ... wow thats great for a lifelong addiction , with weed the more you smoke the less you can feel the effect so whats the point after a while , it's just a waste of life and cash .

On the contrary - everyone in my city hates reality TV. and its a big city. There are many more Australians involved in sport and activities than you seem to generalize about, and over half of us hate watching TV.

You live in Redcliffe I'm pretty sure you said once from memory? If so that is hardly a city but more a pile of mud north of Brisbane. Reality TV was only one of the million things I could of said, but I thought using it as a pretty general icon that brainless people worship was satisfactory. No, the real anwser, is that all the goverment officials, from governors up to the president, acctually want the drugs for themselves. There are just not enough resources, such as Mari j. in the world, so the people who control the US can do the drugs themselves.

Not really, the government says it harms your brain cells, but there are NO proven accounts of this actually happening.

 

bud is legal in some parts e.g. amsterdam and it is proven that it helps concentration for instance: Coffee has over 2000 different chemicals, less than half have been tested and over 20 caused negative effects when tested on rats. THC has been tested and has no bad effects, just positive. They also say cannabis is a gateway to harder drugs, I don't believe it is. I just do it while socialising as it's much easier to do so than drinking while at a house party or something similar.

 

Well if marijuana was legal then the product would become cheaper as everyone would try to get their hands on some which will cause major problems so they made it illegal..

well the price really does matter on location but usually around 200-350 for an ounce or 5 dollars can get you high pretty much

 

I'm not going to read this, I'm just going to state how I feel.

- Cannabis is illegal to influence peoples views on cannabis, especially young peoples.

- Cannabis can be very negatively influential and damaging to a young persons brain.

- Cannabis can affect people differently, and sometimes the affect is not a good one.

- It can be considered a gateway drug; if cannabis is legalized, usage will likely be increased, and may lead people onto using 'harder' drugs.

 

cannabis is safe and proven. Making it legal would take the criminality out. I don't believe it's a gateway to harder drugs, I found it to aid my concentration and I know my limits. Many people turn to crime in order to support their habits. I know this mainly applies to heroin users, but petty crime often funds someones spliff on a night out.
