Paypal Limited Account - 6 Months Done.

My paypal account was limited about 6 months ago, the other day I got an email saying my funds were available for withdrawl, but I need a bank account, or VMI card or something with the same name, or they won't give me my money.
I forgot to mention, the paypal account with my money on it, I used a random name, the name on the pp account is not my name..! So if I were to attach a bank account it still wouldn't be my name, any suggestions on how to get by this?
Can anyone PLEASE give me ANY advice, or even how they got out of this mess?

i kinda got this problem except i cant spend any money

need to put a cc, or bank account on it =[

 

what i did, was went to walmart and bought a pre-paid cc and i use that.

i also use it for everyday use

 

You guys are not getting the point...
The name on the paypal account is NOT my name, I just put a random name, and paypal contract states you must use your real name, if I use a prepaid credit card, how does it work? Help me, thanks to everyone who posted.

 

make a new account and send yourself the money. paypal allows 2 accounts per person.

 

To the best of my knowledge they don't check if the name is the same as long as you have access to the bank account.

P.S. then it's your own fault.

 

dude buy a PRE PAID card and regist it to the name you used and wolha you will have your money in no time

my account is locked they want me to add a bank card or show passport or somthing

 

Make a new e-mail account, go through a proxy and make a new paypal account with your real name, send the money to the one with the real name. Your good to go...

 

Then it'd be limited again

 

I cant send, recieve money because though it's still in limited state, I can only withdraw the cash if I add bank account etc.

If you are forced to go through the bank, I don't think you can withdraw your money. You should of just used your real name...

 

I think i'm going to try and buy a prepaid credit card, and just use the name on the paypal.

 

Prepaid CCs can only verify/be used for Non-US accounts. For USA you need a bank account.

 

That is why you read the ToS before you join something.

Otherwise, just go make a bank account, make another paypal with your real name, then add the bank account to the paypal so you would be verified. And send the money from your old paypal to your new one and send it to your bank account.

 

That's the whole problem though, they won't let you send money/receive.
Only withdrawl after I have verified that account that does not have my real name...

 

The bank account that you use to verify your paypal account doesn't have to have the same name. I am guessing since you have to be 18 to join paypal (but no one follows that rule) younger kids would get their parents to make a paypal under their name and use the kid's bank account to verify that paypal account. I've done this with alertpay and it works.

 

So your telling me you think if I add my bank account to it to verify it which has a completely different name it'll work?
I might try that, but I think the 'prepaid credit card' method is better because you get to choose what name goes on the prepaid card.
