You're correct. But, it's a method of transferring.

 

The point of rwt'ing is getting cash without working... You dont even need 2 ppl for this. You go buy 1k iron bars and smith them into iron lanterns, then sell them. This is more of a money making guide. And what do yo do once you have 5k+ iron oil lanterns? I dont think anyone buys that many...

are you on crack? if you sell the lanters for 2m or w.e the buyer can just sell them too, wdf? its just like a trade, your not gaining but your losing time, and /or 200k, if your buying them , just risk it at bh, lulz

 

It's a method of transferring. Every 2M GP you transfer, you lose about 200K.

 

If you want to keep jagex from patching it then why did you release it ??? ever think that maybe they have people browsing our forums ? amongst others.

For people that don't understand let me explain it.

Obviously there isn't going to be a way to RWT by giving cash for nothing. So you need to find something that has a high value and is easy to get. You can just drop the oil lanterns after you buy them, you are only buying them to give the other person the GP. You see if there was a mistake in the GE price of an item like it is really high, nobody actually buys it but if someone wants to buy GP they can sell those items to the person selling GP.

 

sell lanterns too the general store. that gets rid of them and i am sure you will get a bit of the cash back.

 

well i can see how it'll work for you trading items between accounts but i dont see how it can work if your selling gold?

Here's another method you might want to add up there:

Person 1 buys loads of willows (18ea), fletches them into unstrung bows, selles to buyer for about 72ea. It's not as fast as the above, but it makes a good back up in case they fix it.

On the positive side it's safe, but it would only work efficiently on a small scale, a little to small for high end buyers and sellers. Props for whoever stumbled across this.
