Does runescape ip ban?

When my I try to go www.runescape.com i get this message

"Forbidden
You dont have permission to access / on this sever."

I can play runescap this is what my friend gets.

He gets it on firefox and IE
He also tried using a proxy which works but it doesnt load the game.


Any one know whats wrong?

 

They DO IP ban, but only in rare cases (i've been told) such ass mass-autoing - I doubt they've IP banned you though. maybe theres something wrong with your internet, if the game isn't loading then there may be something wrong with your firewall/Java configurations.

 

Change your ip. Then see if you got ip Banned. Simple.

 

Hmmm im not so sure about i.p bans i reckon it is the java uplet update if that deosnt work delete and install again if runescape still dont work sent a bug etc to them or a mail saying etc or look it up cheers =}

I have heard in very rare cases that they do on rare occasions ip ban, but if they've bothered you've must of had to break a serious rule i'd think, check out your setting or proxy it :/

 

Its not me, its a friend thats having a problem. We already tried a proxy, it wouldnt load the game. But when he doesnt use proxy he cant even get to the homepage because it says

Jagex RARELY IP bans, but sometimes it does happen. Your friend needed to have done something EXTREMELY bad to be IP banned, if he didn't, then there's another problem.

 

maybe the site is blocked by his parents? and for the proxy, it won't work because there is no java applet.

 

Well he could check his control panel if Runescape was blocked by his parents if they didn't want him/you to access it.

 

o snap u can get ip ban for autoing?? how many times do you guys think its possible to auto n get caught before gettin ip banned?

I've gotten dosens of accs banned... yet no ip ban and my accs havent been locked .

 

The only person i have ever heard being ip banned was Genodemon back in the day and thats becuase he made uberfighter and they actually figured out his ip
