help with my moms comp

ok here how it gose when i open up windows xp (SP2 i think) it start clciking crazy like i hover my mouse over a icon opens about 60 of them befor i can even take my mouse off it but i press ctrl+alt+del and the click task maneger it stops.. but i would like it to stop now even if i open windows with out task manger ​

So it just starts clicking a lot?
Is this a wireless mouse?
press ctrl+shift+esc to get task manager faster

 

Change your mouse, then run a virus scan. It sounds so me like either a hardware issue, or a virus that is made to annoy you.

 

Turn the screen around, you'll never have to see it again.
