Questions about botting

So i really want to start with botting, dont have any experience though. Looking to build a small bot farm but i heard i should get a VPS and proxys/Socks. Some questions i have: If i buy a VPS does it include proxys/Socks?

Can i change my ip whenever i want?

Once i get banned can i change the ip?

Can i run a bot farm/VPS/Set everything up even if my laptop is broke? (I can acces one everyday but it’s only for 1-3 hours and its a MAC)

Can i run for example 8 clients all using a different ip?
Not quite sure how that works..
Really need some help with this as i’m looking to get started

Yes but doesnt a VPS run the bots? How am i supposed to use the VPS?

 

The internet connection goes thru vps, so your own internet doesn't matter there. In my knowledge, you need to buy vps and tunnel the bot program internet thru the vpn.

 

Depends on the VPS. Look into VM's if you have a strong computer (Oracle VM's).

 

1. If you buy a VPS non-shared and you have no idea on how to set one up, possibly avoid it. There are ones that come with Windows already installed, but cost more. Digital Ocean can offer you ones with dedicated IPs and their not shared for almost 10 a month or a bit more. Also no, usually bot have set-ups where you can use your own proxies. Although if you're going to run more then one bot on a VPS then yes get proxies. But no VPS's don't include proxies.
2. If your doing this from your home IP you can change your IP by resetting your router usually unless you got a dynamic ip by default. Just know if you get banned using your IP from home and you're running multiple accounts with the same ip you can or will get chained banned very easily and will be flagged in the process.
3. Yes and no, if you using proxy then you have to order another proxy. It's useless to bot on the same proxy after being banned. Same goes with the VPS. Also shared VPS's do get more bans. As for your Home ip, yeah you can.
4. Running a farm is going to be all about managing your time for the farm. Really no breaks, you'll have to resupply the accounts, keep up with trial and error, trade over stuff all the time, mule, lots of stuff goes into play. If your laptop is broken and you have a VPS, the VPS always runs. Unless you shut it down manually. So if you turn off your PC the VPS still runs. You're going to want more then 3 hours a day unless you're doing like.. 4-5 accounts or less? Ban rates are high. Unless you're using a custom platform and custom scripts.

7. Extra information:
If you plan on using a super computer to run these, use VM wares with private VPN's on each of them to change the ips of em. But that alone is a hassle.

 

VPS = Virtual Private Server (usually contains high download / upload speeds for a server.)
VPS has nothing to do with running your bot, you set the bot up by transfering whatever files you're needing. If you don't buy a VPS already set up then you have to set up the server by using putty and loading a OS onto it. I suggest Linux. VPS is accessible through using your computers RDP (You enter a IP and it connects to the computer) thats not even the right word, but I forget what its exactly called.

Virtual Machines that you run using your own computers memory (Oracle is the most popular).

So basically, it's like having a computer on your computer, It still uses your Home WIFI, but what it does is its a different Operating System and so on. If you're on low budget and want to run 3-4 bots i'd recomend a VM, but if you're really looking to bot heavily, VPS is mandatory.

You're welcome to buy one VPS then run the other bots on three computers. Whatever you choose is fine. Just know, with three computers I hope you plan on providing proxies on those accounts other enjoy the chain ban on accounts since you're using the same IP.

Windows and Linux, Linux is less process based and imo quicker. Also will cost you less.

Virtual Machines, a quick google search can answer your question. Also allows you to use (i.e) a auto clicker while playing on your main computer without having to sacrifice the use of your current mouse if that makes sense. These also allow memory to be allocated to them, usually 512MB is enough to run the OS / Bot.

 

So if i have for example a laptop with 8GB of ram i can use that ram and sort of give it to the VM?

 

Yes, but you should have a decent processor as well. Personally AMD is my favorite when it comes to running VM or anything related to processing a lot of processes. Intel is for gaming.
If you decide to do this method and you allocate 1GB to your VM this means 1GB is created and you technically "lose" the ram when its made until you delete the VM. Note: if you turn off your computer running a VM your VM shuts off.

Edit: Be sure to check off "shared" folders, because if you plan on using windows XP (since they are no longer pushing updates) people can get into your PC / VM (Not saying it will happen but you know just incase). I'd use Windows 7 Pro if possible. For setting up a VM be sure to follow a Youtube video, as you're going to need a OS to run it.
