    Question for Atheists

Not really. I usually consider God to be a sentient divine being with a large amount of power, knowledge, etc. If God was simply a field of energy that could be described in terms of mathematics and science, I wouldn't call it God.

    Question for Atheists

Disregarding the comments about natural origin of the universe and God, i'll go on saying my opinion on the real topic .. :]

EL17E, basically, a God, or supernatural being, would be one of the few severely good explanations for the origin of the universe, or in other terms, life itself. Perhaps you're referring to the God most circle around .. (Christian, Catholic, ect ..) but who's to say that people don't argue against other "Gods" not being supreme ruler, and He in which is the universe itself.

If you are referring to just that "God", then your discussion, along with the post in it, are based on false information and the act of trying to seem smart. I'm not saying that anyone here is trying to seem smart, but then again, who really knows something?

Noone really knows something. Only what has been given as an explanation to things that most cannot figure out .. or what everyone has been brought up to believe ..

Noone on this Earth really knows something .. and if someone were to say that they did, they would be lieing ..

    But, back on subject ..

Most atheists base their opinion of God on that one sole, main God, who is Jesus .. but only a few really go into detail and discovery about their center of beliefs .. Which are the ones who actually can have a decent discussion of why they are atheists ..

So, to answer your question, this is why people choose their own religions. The only explanation of which God is real is bibles and books .. However, those are written materials .. Most people want to see the real thing to believe .. and if they ever do, but try to tell someone, noone will believe them, ofcourse.

This is why different religions are abroad today ..

Atheists, nor do any other people, have any concrete proof, or any acts of ACTUALLY KNOWING SOMETHING .. In this case, about a God .. but what they have come up to believe, or what they have read somewhere, ect ..

The same way you cannot actually PROVE that a God exist, others cannot prove that one does exist, however human instinct is to fight for what you believe, so that is what some do. Your question is centered around the future coming of false answers, and answers that most cannot believe ..

If someone were to actually answer your question correctly, as in .. what is TRULY correct, then they, my friend, are the REAL God ..

(BTW - If someone actually read my entire post, far enough to get to this part, then I just want all to know that my religious beliefs reside NOWHERE in those post .. I try not to mix personal thoughts in with contradictions or "Explanations" that someone may want .. or in this case, posts .. Thanks!)

    Question for Atheists

A scientific explanation is harder to come by than to accept a God of the gaps as the reason for everything.

I hate how people criticize scientists and say that they do not know anything about how the universe was created. And then you explain your simple fairytale about how God made everything out of nothing and think that you are smarter than them. 2000 years ago, everyone believed that thunderstorms were caused by God and all natural events, earthquakes, tsunamis, droughts, were wraths of God. You still believe this? The same is going to happen to your little creation fairytale when we really find out the origins of the universe.

    Question for Atheists

For starts, some believe that god IS a neccesary being. He is not. The evidence that god doesnt exist is that there was no trace he ever left exept for the bible. the bible couldve been written by anybody, who knows. Nobody knows why god COULD or COULDNT exist.

    Question for Atheists

Well I was saying that God could be the explanation of all known existence because what created the very first matter? I think he it is a naturally occuring force who was responsible. I think one would indicate the other.

And of course you CAN'T EXPLAIN this complex mixing, right? OK then answer this, what causes the complex mixing of uneven heating? Or even better, what causes the Earth's rotation?

the earths rotation is caused by the axis of the earth.

Then Occam's Razor comes into effect. Why would you suspect that a God is responsible when it could have been a naturalistic force?

Of course I can explain it. I don't see how I couldn't. I can't tell you every single aspect without resorting to "God did it", if that's what you mean.

The Earth doesn't rotate for any particular reason. The odds of finding a perfectly still piece of matter are quite low, you know.

    Question for Atheists

no man in their right mind can argue that god exists using logic , if you think intelligently there is no need for a god to exist therefore no way a god should exist , people with religions have no spare time due to this fanatical loathing .

    Question for Atheists

No that is not what causes the Earth's rotation. The axis is what the Earth spins on, and it is imaginary; doesn't physically exist. You are wrong.

Shredder, my pencil doesn't move unless it is acted upon by an outside force. In fact, that is one of Newton's Laws. So what causes the earth to move? And of course you can't explain every single aspect because the things you can't explain, is where you are forced to believe in God or else you are just plain stupid. And we all know you're not stupid; just blind in some aspects.

    Question for Atheists

When the solar system was forming, the dust and rocks that weren't moving were drawn towards the center to form part of the sun. The parts that were moving around the sun were the ones that congealed into the planets. As to why they rotate, there are literally trillions of possibilities as to possible rotation schemes. One of these is a lack of rotation.

Things that I can't explain require a belief in God? So, 5,000 years ago, a solar eclipse HAD to be God?

    Question for Atheists

I can see, Supreme Intelligence is Muslim; I am too. Anyways, how can the universe be created? It's theoretically impossible to have something created so big, without a powerful creator -- or according to Shredder: "hen the solar system was forming, the dust and rocks that weren't moving were drawn towards the center to form part of the sun. " Ok, I don't necessarily believe that, but it allegedly out of the sky moved, and it created the solar system. BULL SHIT! It seems quite idiotic. There had to be a supreme ruler, therefore the only answer is god. So, shredder, convert.

The fact is you CAN'T explain much of anything. So, you answer these fairly complex questions with a simple answer. God. kapiesh?

The universe does not necessarily require a creator. It could have been here forever, or have been created by a naturalistic cause.

Naturalistic cause, bull shit. There's nothing natural, something must have a sole creator. Therefore, God.

    Question for Atheists

On what basis do you pronounce a naturalistic cause to be bullshit?

It was thought that the complexity of life meant that an intelligent designer must have created life, yet they were wrong. A naturalistic cause was found.

    Question for Atheists

If a naturalistic cause of some type was found as to how life, the universe, and all things residing was created, then it must mean that something was already there for nature to spring it's course upon all life.

Nature just doesn't sprout out of nothing .. It would need two or more different things, or elements, to fuse as one, creating something more complex than the two itself. If life was created from naturalistic cause, then there must have been two different elements making it .. Therefore if there were only two, there must have been four to fuse into that two, or any different number that wasn't one. If there was only one thing that made two things, something MUST have gone wrong ..

Therefore, there has to be a second element to have made the universe .. either that, or some supernatural power, or in this case, God.

There couldn't be a second element, however, because obviously, the universe was the beginning, middle, and end .. There was only the universe until a "NATURALISTIC" cause made it expand and do what it does every second .. Which would be virtually impossible, so a supernatural cause is the only explanation that makes any sense ..

Great, we've established the Law of Conservation of Matter.

Life was created through evolution. That's not what we're talking about. We're discussing whether it had to be what you consider God that created the universe.

You don't need two elements for something to become more complex. Not too sure where you got that idea, but you're letting it run amok.

    Question for Atheists

There may be a creator, but to say that there must be one when you have no evidence is foolish. I think there may be a creator, and if there is, I guarantee you no organized religion even comes close to describing him and how he created the universe. We are more reasonable than the God describe in the Bible, but we are too scared to admit it. Organized religion is just humans' manifestation of their need to know in a world where they do not know anything. Faith is dead, no one has faith in anything anymore because of our scientific progress.

Who knows, the entire universe might be God, we might all be part of God. But we would be such a small part of God that what we do will be completely insignificant to him so he really wouldn't care about us.
