google offers things like search engines etc...

Try to see if they have hosting sites that you can customise.

Well I was going to pay the same price at a different site for a worse package, and I'd like to know that if something weird happens and I randomly get way more people that I expect to, I won't have to worry about updating the package and changing stuff. I want to be able to do anything I am capable of.

Yeah, but its unlikely u will get more then 100 people uploading files in the first week. Curts hosting also makes it really easy. Its like two clicks and done.

It would be fairly expensive for actual file hosting, since people may uploade files 100mb + (depending on what your limits set at, generally its 100mb).

That means if 50 uploads are done a day, thats on average 1gb - 5gb daily. It will take a huge amount of bandwidth as well as storage.

Why not think about an image hosting website?

I'm thinking about that, thanks. But the thing is, I'm ordering the package that's got unlimited bandwith, so I've got no limits to usage. As for staff, 1337byte is going to be a large part of the site.

All of those domains you have to pay for, they are only about 10 dollars a year though. It's the actual hosting that costs a lot.

    Here's What You'll Want:

    Learn HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL
    Lots of Bandwidth
    Money Invested, Money Returned

And really, you will be fine with that
