    The future of JMacro...

I'm considering retiring the project to an extent.

As some of you may realize maintaining a java bot takes alot of work. Since my BCEL skills are less than satisfactory I never got around to writing an updater for JMacro which was needed to update the client components for tileWalking/Locations.

I'm considering setting up JMacro with all of the tilewalking functions removed and retiring on a stable release which will update the canvas control (essential to the minimization and luckily easy to update) on the fly which will cause the following:

-No more perfect walking sequences, were going to have to resort back to alot of the scar-like walking methods
-No more waiting over three days for me to update the bot when its necessary, the client will download/update on the fly

Honestly I'd only had one goal in the Rs-cheating scene and that was to make a stable bot just once, now that I've accomplished that goal it was fun for a while but its just going to end up being a slave job.

I will be releasing the full source to all of the latest versions of JMacro under the limitations that any constructive modifications validate to my recognition. I'm planning on setting up a stable home for JMacro at http://jmacro.no-ip.org/forum (soon to be redirected from getjmacro.com). These changes will be made within the following few days.

help me to understand one thing but please (and take into consideration that i have limited programing experience im only a script kiddy) why is it that the client itself needs to update? i.e. why cant it update from the rs server itself if that makes sense

I'm kind of confused. Are you going to not work on JMacro and move to RSBot, or are you going to improve JMacro, I'm not sure what your saying, sorry. :D

I'm sad to hear that... You should start working on rs-bot. It would be unstoppable. Teach Jagex who really owns rs :D
