Yes, stop using Itunes, and buy a Zune. Itunes has stuff in AAC format, extremely bad for low basses, too much emphasis on higher portions. Zune Marketplaces uses WMA, which is just like MP3 but is a lot smaller as it uses good lossless compression. And also, not too important but something cool nonetheless, Zune Software can count the songs you've listened to so people can see what you've listened to online, you also don't have to install a bunch of useless extra crap like Quicktime, which Itunes does not need at all to work.

    Responses like that are pointless.

This is not an ipod/zune debate. He's asking for help not what you think about his choice in mp3 player.

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301267 may be helpful. I'd try restoring your ipod by clicking the restore button in itunes.

You don't need to quote me when what I wrote was right above you...there isn't really much he can do to solve the problem, and it's sad how people want Ipods when the Zune is obviously better.

even if the Ipod sucks, that does NOT mean you get a zune. Zunes are rated #10 out of all MP3s, while Ipods are rated #1. The only reason that the zune is even KNOWN is because microsoft whores up all their advertisements with zunes because they have the advertising ability.

Also, this is a thread about how he can FIX the problem he has. So why would you post something like that? Its not helpful at ALL.

You should probably try to access the admin account of the computer. It has all the rights. Maybe you should make your account on the computer have admin access so it can copy the files.

try to take the music and drag it into another folder, then drag it into itunes and it will read the music as part of the folder instead of what it is labled and such.

iPods are only #1 because Apple spends almost all of its extra money advertising it and because dumbass kids keep buying it because they see other kids with it.
