Should I sell my LTC?

Just wondering if I should sell and buy another crypto or hold, haven't seen much movement atm, but supposed to be a big year, looking for other opinions. Been holding for about 4-5 months.

 

I wouldn't if I were you look what happen to ethereum.

 

If you have been holding since around the $40 support, wait out a little bit longer as Litecoin just made its official instagram and has some cool features coming soon.

However, if you are looking to take some profits, although its $120 or off the ATH, getting rid of 10-30% of your LTC to reinvest in other coins isn't the worst idea, but I think ICO have be drastically pumped these last few weeks and its time for BTC to take back some market dominance.

However, This along with Lightning network, cross chain atomic swaps, LTC marketing, and the pretty sideways price movement in Litecoin for the past few weeks, now is the time to buy, which is what I am doing.

Well its worked for me lately so figured id spread the word. Over 50,000 invested right now into eth, ltc and btc individually.

 

You do realize LTC's biggest innovation was being able to multiply by 4 right? 4 times the supply of BTC, 4 times faster blocks.

Lol I did respond and the only question you asked is to name of of the LTC developers and I did, but that's not to mention that LTC has the strongest relationship with BTC core. Joseph Poon works on ETH Plasma but is more widely known for his Whitepaper for LN, which at the moment is being pioneered but LTC and BTC core in search for better scaling solutions.

All your last post said was bashing me for saying "most people don't know any other Devs in the ETH camp other than the poster boy vitalik" (which is very true).

Also your chart above shows nothing. Do you really think LTC has a major pump because of LTCFoundation announcement of a new marketing campaign?

Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, there was such a large increase in price because LTC follows closely with BTC, LTC has been rising in terms of transactions, is one of the only coins with real adoption, which has a lot more to do with the core team, history, and technology, not the "best thing LTC has done is multiply by 4" argument you make.

It's funny how you try to show a graph trying to prove that LTC has dropped in price just because of Charlie selling, despite the market having 2 major sell offs since that announcement, which effected all coins.

What about this summer when ETH dropped to $13 lol?

Overall volume of the market has lost a lot of volume these past weeks, and trying to point Charlie selling his coins (you do realize he is 40 years old, rich, and wants to retire soon right?) is fucking stupid since the entire fucking market has been dropping. During that same time Frame in the graph above, BTC went from $19,000 to $12600 ish and you think LTC has been dropping because of Charlie's comments, which he cleared up and explained.

(btw, Charlie selling just shows that a coin shouldn't have to succeeds just because the founder keeps them... Again, imagine if Satoshi Sold. Doesn't mean he doesn't believe in the vision).

Charlie is great at using other people's work . I mean.. He made LTC, lol. By the way you have some discrepancies in your post like always. ETH hit $0.10 in the summer (not $13) due to GDAX flash crash in which it took minutes for prices to recover. And in that same timeframe from the pic above, ETH went from $500 to $1,200+. I don't give a shit about BTC so fuck off with the whole, "I'll make more excuses about all coins being affected instead of relying on facts." Oh and since you mentioned "one of the only coins with adoption, I'll refute that statement as well. Come back to me when it beats BTC on a single day for daily transactions. I just threw in ETH for fun since it has more than BTC and LTC combined, and that's without Casper (which will be implemented this year), or any of the other numerous scaling solutions which are being developed in the next 1 to 2 years.

 

Bash on ltc all you want, its still gonna make a run this year, I'll look back at this thread when it does .

 

1. The only reason ETH has seen a run up is because of the ICO blast these past few weeks, and the main reason we have seen a drop in LTC's price is because of BTC losing market dominance and LTC is closely tied to BTC.

2. Second you are only comparing 3 coins. BTC (most known cryptocurrency with the highest market cap), ETH ( 2nd largest market cap and is the "ICO" coin), and LTC (has a fraction of the market cap of ETH and BTC, whose purpose is to act as a payment coin).

3. Most of these transaction you are listing are FROM EXCHANGE TO EXCHANGE. This does not show real market adoption, but rather speculative trading...... You would expect ETH reaching new highs with more volume pouring into it to have a transactional run up...

5. Again, you are listing ETH on the same chart as BTC and LTC. LTC is not claiming to be anything related to ETH. If you want to look at the charts for PAYMENT COINS like LTC, Dash, XRP, Etc, you'll be surprised.

Actually I would say SegWit, Help on LN, upcoming atomic swaps, Upcoming schnorr Signatures, not to mention being the best test runner for new tech being added to BTC are all some very impressive things LTC is working on... come on man, dont diss your boy poon... he literally wrote the whitepaper. LTC and Lightning Labs are working side by side and made the first ever cross chain atomic swap between BTC and LTC

7. In response to your CEO selling Stocks.... The thing is with people like you is that you don't understand is that you try to link foundations and their members to CEO of large corporations. This is a huge problem. One one had you support a coin which is all about a decentralized platform, but then you claim that another coin is a shitcoin because the creator sold his coins. Charlie did this because he (as well as I) believe this market is too concerned with its founders when the whole point of cryptocurrencies are to provide a decentralized for of peer-to-peer payment, among other things.


If you actually followed Charlie on twitter, you would understand that EVERY day, he would be flooded with messages accusing him of manipulating the market. He was voted #3 most influential person in the blockchain space.

People don't understand or care about the importance of decentralization. It wouldn't have made a difference if charlie cashed out his millions of dollars now or in 5 years, since he is set for the rest of his life.

You do realize the man is the single biggest reason that Coinbase is the go to fiat gateway for crypto right?

You do realize he worked at google for years and is one of the only people in the industry to have any former forex and asset trading (he traded gold and silver so he understands the importance of gold and silver in a society).
