    A new community?

Well, it seems that exploiting the new RuneScape update has failed? Everyone can see this. Perhaps, we can change into a newer community. Yesterday, I pmed Sythe himself, and I asked him what he was going to do with Sythe? Because, activity hasn't been so great after what Jagex inflicted upon us. He responded and said,
Well, yes, he's going to see what his members want, obviously. Because, the members make up the community, and he cannot make a big decision, or he could risk losing many members.

Anyways, we do indeed need a new focus. RuneScape shouldn't be the main focus, anymore. It's almost virtually impossible to exploit it. So, therefore having a newer community would be best for the Sythe.org Community! Also, did I mention the dev team hasn't been showing any progress.

Back to activity, it hasn't been very good. Many people have quit RuneScape - therefore quitting Sythe. Because, they have no essential use for it anymore. Now, don't you see? We do need a new focus. Or the activity will go downhill.

Letting Sythe go with it's own flow isn't very good. As you see, there's been no progress. Now, this what I have been thinking. We could change into a NEW community!

    My ideas:

    - Gamer Community ( There's a lot, but we have a large amount of members, and most of people here quit RuneScape. So, this could be a good change for us!)

    - WoW Community ( We can exploit shit, rwt, etc.)

    - Chatting Community ( basically a real life forum, we can still include a portion of gamers)

If you have any ideas, please post here!

I cannot edit polls. So, when you have an idea, I'll edit it here. Then once a global moderator has time, they'll edit it in.

    Approved.

It is critical to the survival of this community to take action. It has been over a month since the RWT updates, and trying to exploit a few loopholes (that are generally closed quickly) will not keep Sythe.org alive.

This is the time for action!

Personally, I would prefer to see Sythe.org become a general cheating community, with WoW sections, RS, and so on, but it's up to the community (and ultimately, Sythe).

    Vote, suggest, etc.

I think it should be general cheating, with various types of RPGs and MMORPGs, and even console gaming.

There might not be a lot of people interested in only console gaming, which is why I chose General Cheating. People who do not have a console for gaming/cheating etc, can still be active, with other parts of the forum.

A general cheating community would work. The WOW forums aren't exactly that great. I see on average 3 people viewing it so yeah, tells you they aren't that busy. It's still mainly the Black Market that has the most people viewing or doing whatever there. User services on particular. I'm not sure exactly what else we can concentrate on but I do believe that expanding beyond RS & WOW would be a great idea.

I think the best thing would be a general community, however sythe has also said that he believes sythe will guide itself to it's future. I don't believe that sythe is going to make drastic changes to the forums without the obvious sway of content to that area, however I could be mistaken/he could change his mind. Most of the staff, and "vets" of the member base don't play runescape anymore and I'd take that as a sign that we should open up to new opportunities for traffic, and possibly stop some of these DDoS attacks by teenagers that don't understand the concept of legal systems.

I voted for General Cheating as well. I don't consider myself a gamer because I don't play games often at all, including console and computer, but I still find this would be a great way to keep the current member base of these forums as well as expand it in the future.

Hopefully these forums can continue and adapt to meet the new needs of its community and in doing so have a bright and long lasting future.

    I'd say general cheating/gaming.
WoW - Habbo - GunZ - Guild Wars - Maple Story - etc...

When everybody quit runescape they turned to other games. Perhaps still a little runescape section too, for IRL trades.

Lol, all 10 votes are general cheating... this is begining to seem one-sided.

    General cheating - 100.00%
    WoW-oriented - 0%
    RuneScape-oriented - 0%
    Other (please post) - 0%

General cheating is better than community for one MMORPG, RuneScape is outdated, we can come back to it, when situation will come better. Try to conctrate not only on WoW, take Lineage II into consideration. Aion Online will come out in some months. There are many games, and everyone like something else.

I think we should simply add more sections to the WOW forum, and add some more MMOS among other things. It would be too risky to completely revamp the whole forum >_<

I'm going to jump on the "general cheating site" bandwagon.

I would also not be opposed to expanding on technical sections by adding categories such as hardware, overclcoking, and case modding. The people that are into that kind of stuff are generally a mature crowd of gamers from ages 15 to late 20's. An example of a community with a great setup in those categories is Overclock.net. Sections such as what I stated would go hand in hand with a PC gaming/cheating forum and would also open up new traffic opportunities. As well as remove us from the whole runescape cheating site DDoSing war scheme.

what are you talking about, sythe has been about cheating (usage of bots and such) for a while, it is not going downhill all that has happend is that a lot of the scammers have gaven up, it's a good thing , this just shows exactly how many people are actually using sythe as it should, on top of that there are still ways to rwt it just takes a little longer and some patience and i believe if sythe himself put some thought into it he would come to the same conclusion

    General cheating.

Black markets only attract scammers, so I'm against them. Let's concentrate on macros.
