    Question for Atheists

but if you believe in god, would you want scientist to study god? put him into a lab, cut pieces off of him, etc?

thats what im saying, until science proves it, its not real in my book.

    Question for Atheists

Umm it's not that simple... you can't just wake up and think "hey i'm gonna murder someone but it'll be fine because i'll just ask for forgiveness." No, it's not like that at all, you have to be truly sorry for what you did.

How about cursing? So if you are not really sorry then you do not get forgiven? Who says that i can get forgiveness?

    Question for Atheists

Life was not created by God. Our existence and co-existence with other species is the proof of life. Our reasoning behind the non-existence of God is that God is an idea created by man, and observed from man-to-man.

The Bible is similar to that of a fiction book; it derives moral values through stories, to define and construct rules for society.
There is in no way God had any influence on the Bible, so that disconnects the largest belief of religion; that God wrote the Bible.

    Question for Atheists

There is no direct proof for atheists to understand that a god exists. However, there is plenty of proof that proves that there is a supreme ruler over all humans and nature. I think we can all agree with that.

PLEASE O' PLEASE show me that proof and the "plenty" you say there is. It seems everytime someone says Christians have all this proof they can't back it up. Faith does not count as proof either and my guess is that's all you'll come up with.

Nobody decides the weather. It's produced via a complex mixing of uneven solar heating, the Earth's rotation, etc.

    Question for Atheists

That's to complicated! Since I don't understand it, there must be a God!

Umm, it is tha simple. According to some christian beliefs you can wake up with the intent to murder a man and carry out the action, or you can wake up wanting to murder a man and not do it. Both are a "sin" and sin is all equal in the eyes of God. Or atleast that is what I was taught in a methodist church. So since all sin is equal, I can be truly sorry for murder, but never think twice about telling a "little white lie" and be in the same boat as murding someone and not being sorry, but being sorry about the lie.

Then again you could find where it says those who murder will be condemned to death, but then you can find where it says the only unforgivable sin is denying God. Contradictions, contradictions indeed.

    Question for Atheists

God cannot be tested by science.

None of History can be proven before your birth, or your memory, because it cannot be scientifically proven

Gravity doesn't exist to you since its a theory, but your not floating in space are you?

You cannot believe in evolution, it is a theory not fact.

How do you study something all powerfull, omnipotent, ect.

God would not simply fit in a lab.

    I can simply disprove IPU.

Unicorns would be pink if they reflected pink electromagnetic radiation (i.e., light). However, in order to be invisible, the unicorns would reflect no electromagnetic radiation.

Because we exist with other species there must be no God?

If you believe in God, then you believe He had influence, If you do not believe in God, as you do, then God had no influence. This is completely subjective the persons beliefs, cannot be proved, or disproved by science.

He's invisible sometimes, and pink sometimes. He cannot be disproved by a quick analysis of the English name that we give him.

he cannot be studied because he does not exist.

so if you believe in god then you cannot deny fairies.

    Question for Atheists

To me there isn't much evidence for either case. I think there is a god though, because the universe is just too perfect, how everything just works out and forms materials, etc. I don't think that god effects the universe, but I think that god created it. There is no solid evidence that god exists or doesn't exist though.

    Question for Atheists

My bad, I thought he was invisible, and pink all the time, no disrespect to him or anything.

So lets say if God did exist, in the exact context as Christians percieve Him now, alright? He still could not be studied.

Because you are able or not able to study something, does not prove if it exists or not.

Because I believe in God, I cannot beleive that fairies do not exist? Are you saying I am not free to believe whatever I want, and you are taking that right away from me?

actually, that right is taken away from you because there are laws. you can think however you want, but once you speak that you can be in trouble.

and yes, i believe that if you believe in god, then you cannot disprove fairies, nor can you disprove god, so therefore they have no way they can exist.

    Question for Atheists

What laws take away this right?

I'll say almost the exact same thing I said Because you are able or not able to disprove something, does not prove if it exists or not.

Even if you do not believe in God, you can still not disprove fairies.

    Question for Atheists

your right i cannot disprove either, its the simple logic of it that i think is common sense, to me atleast, that i do not understand and have always questioned.

this is off topic for my last lines of this thread unless i see something more convincing :

i do not understand how god can be here, since everything happens in the world, but thats your belief and i accept it.

i do not care what you believe, its when you start to try to push it off onto me, when you come to my house, try to persuade me to join your church and i say politely "no thanks you" that you keep on persisting, thats when i get angry.

Thats all for now, may you live in peace.

You have a belief too, its that we came from nothing, and this belief is also being assurted onto me.

So let me ask you this, where did eveything come from?
