Besides, if you were going to do price manipulation... there are more efficient items you could do it with.

 

listen, jagex cant really controll the prices, if we wana pay 532m for 1 bronze arrow so be it. they cant go and say, hey this price is too high, lets make the ppl who bought for max price dropp it 5k or so, item value was 6k now 1k etc. doing that would make them communists (actualy.. more comunists than they already are)

GP trading is dead, there are small ways around the system but they are easily fixed, and are for very small amounts anyways. There is still a huge market for account sales though, you can auto up accounts, and sell them.

yes, its set on prices that we set, therefore, that means.. well lets use an example...
rune schim current price 25k (in ge 25k market price varies to 22k, 28k)
ppl buy, sell that 10k times for max price (28k)
price increases by 4-5k or so, just an example
its all done by robots. they only have so many employees. not everyone of them can watch the market price of 53 thousand items =P

 

and also, note that wizzy t sets.. go up about 1-2k evry day on an average
