there are way too many questions about how to play runescape at school. It's pretty simple:

this is a program made with VB 6. Websense does not block programs.

Although you don't need a program to use proxies, this really does save time from switching around from one to another.

not only that, some schools block access to Internet Explorer Proxy Settings.
With this program you can "secretly" change those proxy settings even when you're not allowed to change them

 

Pretty helpful site. I tested the proxies on it and they loaded the rs homepage... lol gonna see if it loads the client later

proxy websites such as vtunnel.com block all scripts such as Java, so Runescape cannot be loaded.

proxy that I gave you does not block any scripts.

 

if ur school is as good at security as mine this wont work beacuse thay block downloads and .exe programs.im going to download at home and put on flashdrive and try at school like that.

Scream me a lovesong, no one cares if you don't like runescape. This thread was meant to help those who do play, and not necessarily meant for you to read.

Rdogg999, that message is spam. How could that be a phishing site? It's a program, not a site. And even then, it's a well known proxy program (as far as I know) and will work for non runescape things. And no, it is not a phish page.

 

I know a few other ways of going to blocked site's on school's;

1. Go to it's i.p. ; Don't know how to get the i.p. of a site ? Open up a command prompt, start run cmd.exe or open a text file type in command.com and save as batch.bat, and type in the command prompt ping www.anything.com. So for runescape; ping www.runescape.com. The i.p. of rs is 209.249.24.6. Now to go to it just type in ur browser; http://209.249.24.6/.

2. Google on google type in what site u want to go to and find the cache. ( next to the name of the site, not always visible, doesnt always work. ) This won't work for runescape.

3. Again, Google, but now translate the site from like Chinese to english. It wont actually translate it but u will be able to go to it. This method also doesnt always work.

If I think of any more ways I'll let ya know.
